AU Shippin' Out December 3-December 7: Uncharted: Drake's Fortune
Two big games for the PlayStation 3 in Australia this week.
Three weeks after its release in the US, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune for the PlayStation 3 is making its way down under. You take on the role of Nathan Drake, self-proclaimed descendant of Sir Francis Drake. Nathan's out to find the lost gold of his legendary ancestry and along the way must fight pirates and mercenaries. One of the first things you notice about the game is that it looks good: damn good. The audio is equally as impressive, featuring an original orchestral score. Uncharted: Drakes Fortune comes out around Australia on the December 6.
The other big game coming out for the PlayStation 3 this week is SingStar. The game will be available as stand-alone software or bundled with two chorded microphones. Aside from a new tracklist featuring high-definition video clips, budding singers will be able to download additional tracks from the SingStore, starting at A$2.49. When it goes on sale this Thursday, SingStar will be available for A$59.95 stand-alone or A$109.95 for the bundle.
