AU Shippin' Out Jan. 31-Feb. 4: Mario vs. Donkey Kong
Two of Nintendo's biggest icons are battling it out again.
In 2004, Mario and Donkey Kong's ongoing feud was rekindled with the release of Mario vs. Donkey Kong on the GameBoy Advance. Now in the series' fourth game, Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Mini-Land Mayhem sees the two duke it out in a new environment when it lands in stores around Australia on Thursday. Like previous games in the series, this latest entry sticks closely to the formula of guiding a group of miniature Marios up the level toward the dastardly ape.
It's a fairly quiet week for releases, with only two other games coming out. Lord of Arcana from Square Enix is a Monster Hunter-like action game, while Dance Junior by Ubisoft is essentially a child-friendly version of Just Dance. Def Jam Rapstar was originally slated for release this week, but Konami's Aussie distributor--Mindscape--confirmed to GameSpot AU that the game has been pushed back a week to February 10.
To find out what else is out this week, check out the list below:
