AU Shippin' Out July 25-29: Adventure overload
Adventure game fans strike it rich Down Under.
The point-and-click adventure genre might not get the same fame as its first-person shooter sibling, but it dominates the Aussie release calendar this week. More than half a dozen titles in this style are due to hit shelves over the next few days, ranging from a vampire mystery story to an Egyptian-themed adventure. Better still, all of these games are cheap, going for A$19.95.
The only other game to come out this week is The Sims 3: Town Life Stuff, which adds new items for your virtual beings to use and new stores for them to explore.
Next week is also fairly quiet, with just a few Nintendo DS games and PS3 bundles coming out. August continues the trend, although things pick up late in the month when Deus Ex: Human Revolution breaks out of the box with its sword arms.
