AU Shippin' Out October 29-November 2: Naruto, TimeShift, and Hellgate: London
TimeShift finally comes out.
First it was an Atari game, then it was picked up by Sierra--but now that its publisher woes are over, TimeShift is finally coming out. TimeShift sees the player don a suit that allows you to bend time. This comes in handy as you pursue your crazed ex-partner who has stolen another time suit, blown everything up, then jumped into another dimension. There are three different means by which the player can manipulate time--Time Slow, Time Stop, and Time Reverse. Aside from the single-player campaign, players can compete online with up to 15 other players on 14 maps. TimeShift will be available around Australia on Thursday.
Hellgate: London for the PC is set 25 years in the future and is based in--you guessed it--London. Unfortunately, it has been overrun by demons so it's up to you to clean up the mess. Players can either go it alone in single-player or take it online. It should be noted that the game was designed with online play in mind. Similar to last month's Fury, Hellgate: London mixes elements from both role-playing games and first-person shooters. Hellgate: London comes out on November 1.
Naruto: Rise of a Ninja for the Xbox 360 covers the first 80 episodes of the Naruto TV series. Rise of a Ninja features an open-ended world so players can wander around all they please, picking up missions at their leisure. Fans of the series will be pleased to know that there are plenty of side missions to play through as well. Expect to see Naruto: Rise of the Ninja in stores this Thursday.
