@Slashee_the_Cow Touche! I've almost always used OGS's Ebay store where delivery isn't "free" but items end up costing only $1 extra compared to the website. That additional $1 however grants you Paypal Buyer Protection. If you've ever had an item no-show from OGS then you're well aware of the headache obtaining a refund can cause. With Paypal, not so much :)
Aussie bargains March 9
Big W and JB Hi-Fi slash Mass Effect 3 and Street Fighter X Tekken prices.
Many people are used to looking overseas for savings, but local retailers are beginning to fight back. JB Hi-Fi and Big W are leading the charge, stocking recent releases like Mass Effect 3 and Street Fighter X Tekken at considerably lower prices than normal. While not all games are discounted, new releases are the most popular games to import, so it's an important battle for Aussie retailers to try to win.
As always on a Friday afternoon, we're rounding up bargains spotted online by both GameSpot AU readers and staff. You can find the list below:
Mass Effect 3 (PS3/360) - A$77 from Big W
Street Fighter X Tekken - A$69 from Big W
Battlefield 3 (PC) - A$42.91 from Play Asia
Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D - A$38 from Harvey Norman Direct Import
SSX - A$51.34 from Play Asia
Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning (PC) - A$41.99 from Oz Game Shop

Remember, bargain hunting is a communal activity, and there's a thread over on the GameSpot AU forums dedicated to finding cheap games. If you spot a good deal online or at a store, be sure to jump in and tell your fellow GameSpotters. Even if you're new to the forums, pop in and say hi!
