Not surprised at all by #1.

I know they're both handhelds, but there's no reason to compare the sales of a Pokemon game in Japan with Persona. BREAKING NEWS: Mario is outselling eBay copies of Crash Bandicoot!

well of course its going to top it -more people have ds than vita ---its been out longer.  completely unsurprised.  Doesn't mean its any good either im waiting to see -i like pokemon but im not sure about another black and white -i just don't know if im read for another one.

I thought they meant that there was a vita version of Black and White the rts out lol. I was like "Whaaaat? when's the US release?!?!?".

not played a pokemon since gold and silver, great games i kinda miss them in a weird way reminds me of my childhood trading pokemon cards. i might buy a 3ds and buy a pokemon game and make up some bs story its for my kids or something lol

I, like everyone else, is not surprised about this. Every time Pokemon or Monster Hunter is released in Japan, it'll sell brilliantly in it's first day. But, by God, I will be buying Black and White 2.

Japan is still Nintendo country, yes? That wouldn't be a bad thing. I hope the birthplace of Famicom retain as many of its great traditions as possible. I hope Sony stay confident on its road as Japanese gaming for the West. I will probably stay a die-hard Sony man until the end.

I just realized today I've seen Big in Japan on a regular basis. I don't know how wise it is to have a regular feature on a specific country, but I wouldn't mind seeing more features on Japanese gaming.

It's not surprising at all. We all saw this coming.

Vita's Sales are very disappointing.  I don't see it being able to maintain any sort of momentum without a major price cut.  Sony really needs to focus on driving the install base up or else dev's will abandon a platform that can't push significant software sales.

Even though i'm 25 years old, i can't w8 for a 3DS open world pokemon that let players compete in a world tournament  via internet. I think an animal crossing like game will be awesome! 

We want Tokyo Jungle!

Forget all those games. Just give us the monster hunter series over here.

I can't believe people are still buying these blatant re-hashes. Any other franchise would be crucified for this...it's worse than Call of Duty

PS vita sales has been picking up, and im glad to say that im gonna get one this weekend, wee~~

Everytime I hear Pokemon and Japan I think of the Chinpokemon episode of South Park. "American have such rarge penis". Some funny stuff right there.

I guess I'm not surprised. I don't know if I'll be getting it. I wasn't thrilled with gen 5 at all, and if this is a pseudo-expansion I think I'll just pass. We'll see.

Still waiting for that Pokemon MMO Nintendo...
