I didnt get the maps? I got the achievements ten of them, I believe, but no new abilities or maps? Whats wrong?
Bethesda offering Splash Damage's first two-map multiplayer add-on at no cost from August 3-17.
Following Brink's debut in May, Bethesda Softworks and Splash Damage appeared to focus their post-release energy on getting the game's spotty online component up to snuff. However, Splash Damage has also been working on new content for Brink, and today Bethesda said that gamers will get their first piece of add-on content beginning August 3.
Titled Agents of Change, the multiplayer add-on offers a situational storyline, in which a ship docks at the Ark and sparks new conflict between the Resistance and Security factions. This new fight opens up two new battlegrounds: an underwater labs facility and the Founders' Tower, which plays home to the haven's upper class.
Along with introducing two new arenas, the Agents of Change add-on raises the level cap to 24. Players can also get new outfits and weapon attachments
To spur demand, Bethesda is offering the Agents of Change DLC to Brink owners free of charge for the first two weeks. After the free period expires, the pack will be available through Xbox Live, the PlayStation Network, and Steam for $10 (800 Microsoft points).

i say all glitches hav been fixed since i pre ordered this game, the gameplay just gets old, new modes wud b nice
don't ***** about something thats free. they are already doing more for us then Activision and EA are.
even though i dont own the game i'll start this download and cancel it so that i wont have to pay for it some time further down the line should i decide i really want it. the games really cheap now and considering some people bought breach for the price i could get brink i could see myself doing just that.
so what are they doing about adding team deathmatch, capture the flag etc, so the maps are a one sided issue?
I made the boneheaded error of pre-ordering this game. While it had a good look to it, and a fun movement mechanic, the style of gameplay really is off. The multiplayer definitely needed help after the first month. It worked significantly better after the patch, but the main style of the game was still odd. It remains playable though. And a free dlc is definitely acceptable. Maybe the map design will improve this time out. Anyway, a disappointing game, but not worth abandoning.
i actually really like i. still play as much as i can. maybe it just does not appeal to some people because i can't find the problems you are mentioning :/
Even if this DLC were free forever it couldn't save this game from being as bad as it turned out. This game was my personal most disappointing game of the year. So many glitches, so little to do..
Brink seriously disappointed me but i might play it again once this add on comes availabe to see if they improved a little.
This game looked good. I might pick it up when the price goes down. That image of the map looks really smooth.
wait, does this mean the Brink multiplayer is finally working? It's not a bad game if you're playing with people, when I played it back when it came out though it was so hard to find a game without horrible demoralizing lag
as much as I enjoyed the potential of Brink on release, the massive delay in releasing this DLC and the lack of solid information... they have done a really poor job of keeping their game alive. A multiplay ONLY game I might add. I really wanted to see this fine tuned into a seriously competitive FPS but it seems enthusiasm for the game has died off so much that that is not going to happen without a major free overhaul of content/upgrades/balancing. That's the kind of thing you'd be able to justify if a game were, like TF2, several years old and been played to death needing new life to extend it's impressive success already. Brink is 3 months old and they've let it die. Rather disappointing.
Worst game ever in 2011, lol I wonder if ppl going to try the DLC I know its free and all but its going to be the same foolishness as before, listen ppl ( ITS NOT WORTH IT) some of you never even played the game and still going to buy it evern tho everyone that played the game made it clear that the Game Sucks..
I was stupid enough to buy brink when it came out and though I like it's art style, customization and the challenge missions I found the game as a whole not very good. It doesn't matter if you play single player or online Brink simply sucks.... Basically I spent $60 for a coaster.......
One of the worst executions of a game and its mechanics of all time. The game could have been so good, but because they didn't go with dedicated servers the game is unplayable. I was so upset when I found out it was unplayable and that I traded games in for it. Needless to say I do not have this game anymore and would advise anyone against picking it up.
i totally agree with rocker6 cause i have the game and i've played it for a long time and what i have found out is that when you're playing it you don't seem to get any help at all. so it just gets boring after a while. soooooo boring that when you start playing brink you just sit there and wonder why you even bought the game in the first place.
didnt buy the game but I'll still download this. Just incase I find this game for like 5 dollars somewhere.
This has been delayed SO much. Brink is a great game, with great potential. Just the fact that it wasn't promoted like CoD doesn't make it bad.
Meh,Brink is nothing special, not worth a purchase,I had high hopes, but in the end, game is just not worth it.
