Capcom announces Mega Man "Sound E Can" soundtrack collection
Soundtrack collection to be released to commemorate mascot's 25th anniversary; music to span NES series through to current DLC titles.
Even with Mega Man Legends 3 cancelled, Capcom still has a soft spot for the Blue Bomber. The publisher will be releasing a soundtrack collection of the Mega Man series sold exclusively through its online store e-Capcom.
The 10-disc soundtrack set is called the "Rock-can Sound E Can" and will be packaged in a steel case themed around the game's signature E-Can power-up. The collection will include music from the original NES series (Mega Man 1-6), the SNES-exclusive Mega Man 7, the PlayStation version of Mega Man 8, as well as the DLC Mega Man titles Mega Man 9 and 10).
The bundle is being produced to help celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Capcom mascot and will cost 14,700 yen ($185) when it goes on sale September 19 this year.
