It sounds like actual DLC and not just a chunk of the game they removed to make people pay extra. I'll buy it.. If this game had better graphics and fewer flaws, it would be a solid 9.5. Hopefully the sequel will improve things.
Dead Island gets Ryder White DLC February 1
New $10 content for zombie title lets gamers play as antagonist Ryder White; "several hours" promised; two blueprints for weapons also added.
In September's zombie action game Dead Island, players had the chance to become heroes, fighting to stay alive on an island infested with snarling undead. With the game's newest content, however, players will swap sides, becoming the game's antagonist Ryder White.
Due out on February 1, the content will be available on Xbox Live (800 Microsoft points, or $10), the PlayStation Network ($10), and for PC through Steam ($10). According to Deep Silver, the content will allow gamers to learn about White's motivations and uncover "why he did what he had to do."
In addition to a new single-player story campaign that will span "several hours," the Ryder White DLC includes two blueprints for weapon modifications. Unfortunately, Deep Silver did not name these items.
