@Lotus-Edge indeed. Skyrim had a short release date after its announcement as well... so I assume Bethesda wanted to publish this game with the same intent. I like the idea.

I love first person, sp. Also, assuming it's also coming to American Best Buy stores, I can buy the physical copy for less than full price. (Got to love coupons that BestBuy sends to it's members! - Unless I get a larger coupon, I can get this for $10 off, not a lot but any savings are good at this point, and I prefer physical copies and to purchase at release time- if I've seen enough footage).

I'll pass, thanks. Last time I checked a real Bioshock game is coming out this year, rather than this knock off.

Ugh, Bethesda is way too in love with the first person camera, go off script for once, guess I'm biased as I don't like first person games much heh. I dunno, I just like to see my character, when I get some bad ass looking armor, etc. I want to be able to see it as I'm wearing it.

I want this game but not sure if to get it when it comes out or to wait until they bring out all the patches like with skyrim, I got skyrim when it first came out and it really annoyed me where it kept glitching out. Just wondering what will happen with this one ......

This year is brutal, so many games comming, man i need some overtime....

After reading the preview for this game in Game Informer a few months ago, I like the concepts in the game, but I am not impressed with Arkane's track record especially after their last game which was Dark Messiah. Hopefully it turns out good, but I would love to see some game play footage.

I cant w8 to see some actual gameplay.

It's both a blessing and a curse for gamers this year. We get to have Arkham City GOTY edition, Bioshock:Infinite, Borderlands 2, AC3, CoD: Blops 2, Halo 4, Medal of Honor, RE6, and so on. There's so many games out there, my wallet's reaction evertime I take out my card or pay in cash. "What did I ever do to you?!" Poor wallet :(

@jammitin You won't get any hate. It's your opinion. I do disagree with you though, if the game was third person it would seem too much like an Assassin's Creed knock-off. I don't think you should lose interest, at least not before you see some gameplay trailers.

Will check it out.

sept (that soon) would be awesome and ideal in that it would get ahead of an already jammed-packed, big title-filled oct. Love how over the last few yrs oct has been becoming the new nov. for the biggest games of the year (my fav holiday and b-day included).

I might get some hate for this but this game seems like it would have been a lot better as a third person game than a first person game. The story was sounding pretty good, then the trailer showed it switching between first and third, then I found out it was first and my interest went out the window.

Nice. Now I'll have another September game to play in addition to Borderlands 2.

Definitely excited for this game. Word of mouth on the preview demo shown to gaming journalists suggest Bioshock mixed with Thief; that's a good combo! Still, I would love it sooner, and I'm a little concerned that it'll get lost in the pre-October buzz. Hopefully its good and it finds an audience. We'll see! :)

There are going to be a lot of interesting game's for the month of September and I know I'm at least getting at least 2 of them.
