Demo for sci-fi adventure Lost Planet anchors publisher's lineup of almost entirely playable titles.
LOS ANGELES--In many cases, a company's hottest, most anticipated title of the Electronic Entertainment Expo isn't actually at the show, showing up only in trailer form--a teaser to whet gamers' appetites. Not so with Capcom, whose booth features its upcoming Xbox 360 sci-fi adventure, Lost Planet: Extreme Condition. Not only is Lost Planet playable on the show floor, it's playable at home too, thanks to a demo Capcom has released over Xbox Live Arcade.
Lost Planet isn't the only big title at Capcom's booth. The Xbox 360 Dawn of the Dead-esque zombie beat-'em-up Dead Rising is also featured prominently in the booth, as are the PlayStation 2 games God Hand and Okami.
On portables, the PlayStation Portable role-playing game Monster Hunter Freedom is getting some major real estate. Much less prominent is MegaMan ZX for the Nintendo DS, which is playable on an unlabeled kiosk along one wall of the booth. Three new Capcom Classics compilations are also hands-on, with the Capcom Classics Collection Reloaded PSP demo available for attendees to download onto their systems using the game-sharing feature.
For hands-on impressions of Capcom's lineup, check back with GameSpot throughout the show.
OMG PHOENIX WRIGHT 2! This is the game I've been waiting for all my life! I'm forming a union based on Phoenix Wright, but need charter members. If anyone's interested, they can PM me.

Phoenix....Wright.....Ace.....Attorney.....SEQUEL!?!?!?!?!?!?! HAAAAAALLLLLEEEELLLLUUUUIIIIGGGHHHHHAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!! My favorite DS game is getting a sequel!!!!!! HURRRAAAHHHHH!!!!
Capcom has some neat games in the expo. However I would like to see Capcom Generations on the DS. I hope that they can show some footage of RE5 before the year ends.
OMG what happen to RE5 I thought we as gamers werer going to get some news on it and who you play as in the game. Is it Chris or someone new ????
Awesome Pheonix Wright 2 that is really great.I thought they said the US would never see that. Monster Hunter Freedom for the PSP will be a game I will be getting. Lost Planet for the 360 looks really nice.
In the article it says that Capcom has its hottest game. Really, since when Lost Planet was Capcom's big game? The most anticipated Capcom games are Devil May Cry 4 (No news), Okami (A few screens) and God Hand (Again, screens).
At first I wasn't too impressed with Lost Planet but after playing it, it's going to be a long wait till the full version of the game comes out. I can't express how good it is even in demo form...and Dead Rising is looking better every time I see it. Hopefully it won't get delayed.
It's a little odd to see no new Monster Hunter or DMC games on there, but I am not surprised with RE5. It's probably gonna take until the end of 2007 to get a demo of RE5.
Where is Monster Hunter 2?! It is a huge game in Japan. How do they completely igonre it? What's wrong with Capcom USA?! what's wrong?... T_T
