i m not a game developer and merely a normal gamers, i understand the games can't be the same way as it is but they take out the best and insert the worse, perhaps you can see that too.

Have i stop you from commenting? No, therefore i m open mind as i mentioned above (is ok that you have you own opinion.)

My point is not to change your mind or what, is hope that you can be aware of how this big company trying to play the gamers and con they money.

@RSM-HQ add on to point 1), If Capcom prove i m wrong then i happily accept and admit but unfortunately no as the gamers complain for years, you still can see the action element dominate the game.

1) saying the game is ruined is part of criticize, and if you cant accept then the 1 need to open mind is you. of course i admit is harsh, but necessary now is EA is the worst company who know when will be Capcom...

I also noticed the mix of action and horror but it is a horror genre as the major part of the game. Try not to be a judge again as the change is positive i accept just like aim and shoot at the same time in RE 6, but take out the best (horror element) and put in the worse (just action and key smashing scene) is an issues to concern.

2) I'm not try to speak your words in my mouth and i try to get your point. If that isn't the case, you mind to explain your clone philosophy, in other words, what in Dead Space original make you feel it is a clone?

3) My bad for not giving you detail, the mutants you mentioned is ok because it still can see it is a identifiable creature infect with virus, but how about transformation into gigantic monster big as building or ship and hardly identify what is it originally in RE 4, 5 and 6. (good example: Simmond as well)

@Hreath @RSM-HQ Ok this is going nowhere but I feel I should clear up some final things that you've misinterpreted.

1) Saying a game is ruined over one aspect like say a horror theme is not criticizing, that's flat out insulting. Being critical indicates errors. If Resident Evil 6 had one it would be blatant quicktime events used beyond belief. Horror isn't a reason for the product being in ruins that's you not being open to any change. 

Resident Evil has always been a mix of action & horror it's just become more, and more about one over the other over the years.

If you wanted pure horror the only two Resident Evils that came close are Nintendo exclusives. Otherwise settle for Silent Hill or Siren. 

2) When did I say "anything with a zombie is a Resident Evil clone"? Don't put words in my mouth please, & if nothing else Resi 4 doesn't use zombies at all. 

If I did say out loud another game other than original Dead Space that followed Resi 4 to an uncanny degree? It would be Dark Sector, haven't heard of it? Look it up, it's not half bad.

Finally, and I mean that as my final comment regarding this misconceived debate..

3) Mutants have always been a big part of every Resident Evil game. So your "please" is very self-opinonated. Not sure why you believe I speak of comic heroes? Go back to even the original Resident Evil. You should know zombies after the first quarter get replaced by Hunter T-types, & then Chimeras near the end. Not to mention the mutant bosses Neptune, Yawn, & Tyrant. At this point the horror factor is all but gone when they give you some pretty action styled weaponry to destroy them.

@RSM-HQ Further i criticizing the game developers, doesn't mean i disrespect but to hope they improve.

@RSM-HQi do mentioned the game is a disappointment but that it  doesn't mean i can't appreciated the effort of the game designers and part of the good job that they done in DS 3, however overall still a disappointment. I only criticizing the company for changing the game direction and its flaw. Is that contradicting?

I m try to make point clear by making it short. If you really enjoy the game, perhaps you would have notice the uniqueness yourself and not saying it is a clone. Don't you think it is arrogant and unfair to say every zombie game in the market is mimic of RE or clone?

I recall you mentioned blasting the mutant is something should be appreciated rather than horror alone? Please, i m playing a horror genre game not action X Men mutant blasting game. But at least me and you agreed in horror issues.

For example, don't you think is disrespect if i call you copycat because your assignment range is similar to my without consider your effort to make things different from my? The only developer i disrespect is those who have ruined epic games and if they done good job then they earned my respect just like Bioware willing to listen.

@Hreath @RSM-HQ Now you're contradicting yourself mentioning features in Dead Space 3, I recall reading "Dead Space 3, really a disappointment to me". Keep in mind I spoke & always spoke of the original DS.

& if moving and shooting was the only worthwhile uniqueness Dead Space could bring over a Gamecube game? Then by all means, bravo.  

I'd like to set something straight though. I enjoyed Dead Space, I'm sure all three are good quality games. I speak of the original as it's the one I've played. 

Doesn't change the fact for the original they got the tracing paper out and went over one of last generations best games.

If you feel Resident Evil is ruined as a whole fair enough, that's your opinion. I'd like return of the old horror roots as well. Nonetheless was never the soul reason I enjoyed Resident Evil.

Finally I'll end with. I wouldn't phrase myself as a fanboy as you would consider me. I just enjoy my games over slamming them effortlessly. Clones are good if done well, doesn't change that it is indeed a clone! If anyone has disrespected developers here? It would be you! For both Visceral Games & Capcom in-house.

Despite i skip all the end game credit but i do appreciated they effort to make 1 game different from others and yet you still claim it is a clone. I guess the team is really thanks you for that and Capcom will appreciate you to boost they ego.

developers own style is called unique which different from other games. Did i see the part we can modified the weapon in Dead Space 3 similar in RE 4?

OHHHH, i forgot to mention the most important part can you aim and move at the same time in RE 4??

@Hreath @RSM-HQ I'm wrong about what? Resident Evil being a ruined series? Are the last two action focused, sure they are. However if scares are all you saw 'or appreciated' in Resident Evil, and not the blasting mutants? You've always been better off with Silent Hill dood. & that's, that.

Dead Space will always be a Resi 4 clone, whether you choose to believe it or not. It's what Visceral Games does, unless you feel Dante's Inferno is nothing like God of War? Then again perhaps you really are in some serious denial? 

They take a successful game and mimic it in the developers own style. Regardless. Still being very much the same game.

I don't know why you think I was talking about themes and atmosphere, when I was clearly speaking from a mechanical point of view. 

@RSM-HQ You make urself a judge..But unfortunately you are wrong. As i mentioned RE now is more focus on Action rather than the original horror genre and you cant deny that. (you can even see a transformer element in RE 6, example Simmond)

 Dead Space is a clone to RE.... really? 1 is biohazard and another is alien artifact, please understand the games  before comment.

Further my thoughts are based on after play those games experience rather than others opinions.

@Hreath Dead Space (original and considered the best) was very much a Resident Evil 4 clone, denying this would show denial.

Resi 5 & 6  are still ok games in my view, they just never toppled 4 which was a stellar game. Certainly no means the best in the series, nether the less not ruined as you claim. 

Then again, I'm guessing you just jumped on the hate bandwagon, & your thoughts are based on others opinions that are not your own?
