EB Expo 2012 to feature special guests
International guests will present the PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, Halo 4; Madman Theatre to feature the international debut of Mass Effect: Paragon Lost.
This year's EB Games Expo features a few international guests in addition to the previously announced headliner act, NetherRealm Studios' creative director and co-creator of Mortal Kombat, Ed Boon.
Joining the line-up will be Omar Kendell, game director of SuperBot Entertainment’s PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale. Kendell’s 10-year stint in the game industry includes work on the Tony Hawk and UFC Undisputed series.
In addition to this, Halo 4’s creative director Josh Holmes will be making a presentation from Xbox. Expo attendees will have a chance to gain an insight into Halo 4 directly from the Xbox team.
The event will also feature the international debut of Mass Effect: Paragon Lost, a motion picture prelude to the events of Mass Effect 3. The film will debut in the Madman Theatre inside the Homegrown Gaming Pavilion.
EB Games Expo 2012 is dedicated to gaming and geek culture, and will be open to the general public who purchase tickets. The event officially opens on October 5 and runs until October 7, giving Aussies a chance to check out some of the big-name games that will be shipping later this year and farther into the future.
