Far Cry 3 Insane Edition will help you face the insanity

By Zorine Te

Ubisoft reveals Far Cry 3 Insane Edition with a slew of goodies.

Ubisoft Montreal’s upcoming open world first-person shooter Far Cry 3 is deeply rooted in psychological themes, so it is only fitting that the developer has announced an Insane Edition.

The Far Cry 3 Insane Edition includes a survival guide, an insane Vaas Wahine bobble-head and comes wrapped in a cloth case. Owners of the Insane Edition will also receive access to exclusive digital content, including new missions, weapons and aesthetic tweaks.

The game will see players taking on the role of new protagonist Jason Brody, as he struggles to escape from an island teeming with mad inhabitants. Like previous Far Cry games, Far Cry 3 is being built around an open world sandbox experience.

Far Cry 3 will be released in Australia on September 6 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. The Insane Edition will retail for A$109.95.

You have got to be kidding me, who in their right mind would pay that sort of money for all this cheap extra crap that's really worth about $7.50 max, come on Ubisoft get with the times, bobble heads went out in the 80's damn fools. !! extra DLC is  the norm these days GIVE US SOMETHING GREAT FOR OUR MONEY !!!!

I'd like a FC3 T-Shirt rather than a guide wrapped in a piece of cloth (LOL) & a stupid bobble head thing that my dog will end up chewing !!

Loved FC1, hated FC2 and very sceptical to this one.

FC3...extra useless crap edition.....now with more stuff you won't care about if the game doesn't stand up on it's own merits...and after FC2 your fans are watching.

Looks like an awesome game but the Insane edition looks like crap.

I've lost my taste for CE this year seeing as most are not nearly worth the price tag.  That said, IDK after FC2...I may just wait for this game to drop in price before venturing to the store to get it.

@Ecclesiaste That is a wrong defenition of free. You don't get the actual game but an illegal copy of it, with all the repercussions, usually none but it's still not the same.

@trollkind No repercussions at all, mate. Just install it, put the crack in and enjoy!
