FIFA 13 captures all the drama and unpredictability of real-world soccer, and is driven by five game-changing innovations which revolutionize artificial intelligence, dribbling, ball control and physical play. It is the largest and deepest feature set in the history of the franchise. These innovations create a true battle for possession across the entire pitch, deliver freedom and creativity in attack, and capture all the drama and unpredictability of the real-world game. FIFA 13 Activation Key Generator Update (Working with STEAM and Mac OS X)
EA Sports' soccer sim reaches new reservation total on launch day in North America; demo downloaded 4.6 million times; Wii U version confirmed as system launch title.
FIFA 13 launched today in North America behind over 1 million worldwide preorders. Publisher Electronic Arts today announced that fans have reserved an additional 125,000 copies of the soccer simulation since last week ahead of its launch worldwide on Friday.
The game's demo, which launched last week on Xbox Live and PlayStation Network, has been downloaded 4.6 million times, EA said. This is a record for any EA Sports game, and represents a 42 percent increase in worldwide downloads year-over-year.
Of all FIFA 13 demo downloads, 875,000 came from North America, EA said.
EA also confirmed today that FIFA 13 will be a launch title for the Wii U. Nintendo's new console goes on sale in North America on November 18 beginning at $299, with subsequent releases following in Europe and Australia on November 30, and Japan on December 8.
FIFA 13 BEST FOOTBALL GAME EVER!!!!!!new commentary ,new game modes(fifa ut seasons),new first touch control that makes the great game even more dinamic and realistic, new celebrations, players !neymar finnaly has a real face!!! :D that is more than enough for me!can not wait to get my pre-ordered copy!:P sold fifa 12 couple of weeks ago :P my only concerned is -did EA fix their servers...?:/
I'm glad that some sites are finally stating what customers have been for years... FIFA XX is service pack to the previous one. I own FIFA 12 but I'm not buying 13 unless the price drops to less than £20. £40 for what I feel is more of a service pack than a full featured game is a con. Where's the new commentary? Where's the new formats? Simply tweaking something and adding some new graphics, indie music and then charging full price is basically making a mug out of a consumer. If you have 12 and your desperate for new team rosters and kits then go ahead and purchase. If you're a sensible individual don't bother and wait for 14 or a price drop.
@ACWH there's new modes, new commentary & an overall better game, fifa has always been about refinement & tweaking the game to make it better, has been since 06 and even before that & as for not paying £40 for it, thats just being tight man
@Hardstyler2012 Don't try it. The commentary is the same and exactly what new modes? £40 is not tight. It's a lot to ask when you already have a game that's more or less the same.
Bully for FIFA lol - always good to see a game sell well though regardless of personal feeling towards it!
Gamespot is destroying the gaming industry with false advertisement & articles. Imagine if you are a small company with great game & no one knows about you vs a big tycoon company that tweaks the game a bit & gets 8.5 here. Erasing the line between the truth & lie is the worst you can do.
@aamir69 This is why you don't rely on a single source of information, that should be common sense anyways.
At the latest since the "Jeff Gerstmann debacle" a few years back you should know that the big reviewers get paid for positive scores.
It's not as bad here on GameSpot as it is over at IGN for example, but still.
May I recommend to you "RockPaperShotgun" : http://www.rockpapershotgun.com
Thank me later ...
@bloody-hell Why become so defensive? You are missing the point here, quality of information/ article/ review makes some one reliable or non-reliable not 'paid for positive scores'. What's the point of a review if money is used to hide the rinse repeat & negative aspects of a game?
Is every article about EA sells rep reach 1 million sells? or is it just some overhyped false numbers to get people excited? EA's got a way of lying to the consumers to get more money.
Money suckers? I don't follow that. If all of us already know it's practically the same, then I think it's safe to say that most of you didn't buy it, right? The only reason EA dishes this out every year is because of
1: People who have too much money to spend
2: Ignorant people with just enough money to spend
3: Stupid people, no matter how much money they have
These are the people that keep yearly sports games alive. If you didn't buy it, why the crap are you complaining? You buy the games you like, you skip the games you hate.
Weres 5.1 surround for PC ea? Guess what ea, im not paying for my next few ea games. Why should I have a moral conscience if they don't. It might seem like a small thing to some but not to me, and many others would agree. Fifa13 is a fantastic game though. It might look the same as fifa12 but it plays much better.
FIFA 12 And FIFA 13 look just the same.i didn't see no difference at all.easy money if you ask me.peace out.
That's pretty good for North America - traditionally a hockey and football continent. And no, not that football.
Great news, EA has pumped out very quality sports titles this year and all of them have sold well. I'm glad people are getting their money's worth, though Soccer, or Football whatever you want to call it, bores the living hell out of me.
But I'm glad the industry is alive and well!
Picked it up today, what a dissapointment. EA is not even trying anymore now that there`s no real competition, they`re out to get your money and not even hiding it.
