Gears of War 2 or 3 included with Wal-Mart Judgment preorders

Those who reserve upcoming action-shooter at megaretailer can get either past entry at no additional cost.
Gamers who preorder Gears of War: Judgment in the United States at Wal-Mart's website will receive their choice of Gears of War 2 or Gears of War 3 at no additional cost. In addition, all launch copies of Gears of War: Judgment include a download code for the original Gears of War.
On top of that, Wal-Mart preorders for Gears of War: Judgment include the Classic Hammerburst weapon.
Gears of War: Judgment is due out exclusively on Xbox 360 March 19, 2013 and is the first entry in the series since 2011's trilogy-capping Gears of War 3.
Developed by Epic Games in conjunction with Bulletstorm studio People Can Fly, the project focuses on series soldier Damon Baird and will not use the Kinect.

Kinda excited to see the changes made to the overall HUD and player designs. The story itself is finished not really seeing how they could extend it any more so any new installments will more than likely be set in the past to explain issues that the books brought forward.
God they are desperate to sell this garbage. Its not ever Gears of War anymore. Its disgusting.
This game dosen't seem to be evolving the gears series a whole lot its more like refinement but i actually like that. Was reading up on some of the changes and it sounds like they have had a huge focus on the balancing the MP. I mean gears 3 MP was great but i think everyone knows it had issues things like the sawed off and retro lancer hell just lancers in general being too OP and that's just the tip of the iceberg. A lot of these things are being changed / nerfed. Like the sawed off doesn't have 260 deg blast radius anymore and the you cant 2 piece with the retro anymore. no more getting insta downed by perfect reloaded lancers(there's no more damage boost just speed). Taking some of the fraudulence out of the game and putting more skill back in like the good ol days sounds good to me. Long story short so far im def looking forward to this game in whats looking to be a bland year for gaming that is at least until holiday season rolls around again. Now if the could only somlve what has been gears greatest enemy imo. lagggg even with servers gears 3 was far from ideal so i hope they can improve there.
It's too bad that Judgement has gone in a completely different (and wrong) direction from where the Gears 3 MP was headed. I won't be purchasing this, instead I'll stick to playin gears 3.
This is kinda neat. I already have Gears 1,2,3 so Walmart including 2 or 3 is somewhat interesting. Plus pre-ordered include Gears of War 1. If you need to catch up on Gears of War then this is a good way to do so.
Meh, I'm just going to wait for the inevitable complete collection with all the games, and hopefully all the DLC.
1 Like Yes thts a good deal. But in the UK we got it better. See, with the new Ratchet and Clank you can get 12 Flamehouse Horseburgers for half price or a free Findus Lasagne with every pre-order LOL
I'm sure there's a lot of copies fo Gears sequels that never been sold, since is a higly announced AAA game this always happens. Now is a good time to make use of them.
1 Like @santinegrete Jeez .... seriously .... it is just copying a file onto CD/DVD or straightforward digital download. You don't need unsold physical copies. Do you still live in the 1980s or something?
@N0tYrBeezin @santinegrete have you gone to stores? What retailers can't sell they send it back, sometimes.

First, Gears 1 for free and now, Gears 2 or 3? Amazing, Gears 3 barely came out 2 years ago, it's still a top 10 game on Live, and they're giving it away for free?
1 Like I'll get judgement down the road for $20, it's not even developed by the main GeoW team. It's the ODST of the series, and everyone can sense it. That can be great depending on who you are of course.
@CaptainGamespot Hell the mere fact that SO FAR this is the first Gears Of War game that has no special collector's edition announced. If this stays true til launch day, then to ME that alone speaks volumes for how much this spin-off is def like an ODST of the series & even then ODST had a limited edition version. I'm skeptical about Judgment's production values etc but I'll get it day 1 regardless.

I agree though, after the atrocity that was Bulletstorm, the new devs don't have much credibility.

@Plasmid_king lol now that you mention it, quite true plus it just hit me that Gears 1 and 2 don't cost much anymore.. but HEY you still get 3 free games.. good deal for someone who's new to franchise

1 Like @DESTROYRS_F8 You do get a real AR. But the cops will be waiting outside as soon as the AR ban came into effect and that is when the game will be released.
@DESTROYRS_F8 they give you a .22 rifle, a chainsaw, and some duct tape so you can make your own chainsaw gun.
@g1rldraco7 think of it this way, u get a freebie game to take to gamestop for some trade in value, even if its just $10 its still credit you didnt have.

No need to preorder. Buy it when it first comes out, like on the day of first thing the morning, and you will likely get it anyway. I always do. It's how I got the Limited Edition of Dead Space 3. Heck, we still have copies of the Resident Evil 6 Limited Edition
