Ghost Recon: Future Soldier delayed to May

I hope it doesn't get delayed again, but I am so excited for this that I can wait a few more months.

Maybe they call it Future Soldier because it's coming out in the future! Will we ever have it in our hands?! The graphics and gameplay video all look great. I WANT THIS GAME!!

I remember seeing this at E3 2 years ago and was excited like nobodies business. Now after so many delays and what looks like a lot of game changing this, I could really care less and hope for rainbowsix to be amazing.

i remeber seeing a trailer for this 2 years ago and being so excited. 2 years later... i might give the game a try, but the delays fill me with uncertainty. What i find so strange is that the 2011 E3 demo looked almost finished. What is taking so long?

well is it worth wondering why... when Ubisoft name is involved ? I guess not. Just a bunch of men dressed in stupid suit with stupid accent.

The delay is wise if for no other reason than to let the craze over console MW3 (and to a much lesser extent BF3) die down a bit. However, I hope Ubisoft knows what it's doing. The shooter market competition on the console is pretty stiff, and the top contenders have a different style from Ghost Recon games, an indication of what console gamers want and not of any untapped market. I don't really care whether GR: FS succeeds or not since I stay away from all console shooters that are not motion-sensing-gun-compatible, and I have no confidence in the gameplay of console-to-PC shooter ports (I still believe MW and others like it are PC-to-console-to-PC ports). However, if GR: FS blows it, Rainbow Six: Patriots may be affected. I am looking forward to Ubisoft's vision for that series after so many years.

graw 1 and 2 was the first modern shooters, liked them both, abit mucky storyline but thats common today. Shame Ubisoft treats great titels like crap :/ uh dident see the kinnect tag..fAiL

This is literally like the fifth time this game has been delayed. It's now worse than the delays for Splinter Cell Convictions.

UBIsoft is unreliable. They have good game products, but they are extremely unreliable. I could understand one delay. But, why even announce a game that won't release until 3 years later? That doesn't make any d**n since. A company should consider these continual delays that span the course of years to be unacceptable. They really need to look at reorganizing their management staff.

yet another bs delay...if they hadnt spent so much time for the kinect crap the game woulda been out already.....and the beta is delayed again as well.ubisoft is goin down the drain nothing but delays and mediocre sequels coming out

Sweet jesus. Another time. It wouldn't be so bad if they delayed it to May 22nd the first delay. But all this changing dates is annoying.

If that game gets delayed any more they will have to rename it Ghost Recon: Soldier of Today

Alright I'm kind of happy for the delay because that leaves me with more wiggle room to get Mass Effect 3 and Max Payne 3 and even for me to get Dragon's Dogma and then after that I can wait about 5 or so weeks for this one if it does come out in May.

I am growing tired of hearing that PC versions are releasing at a later date to refine/improve upon them. I don't buy that ruse entirely. PC games are shipping in a horrible non-playable state as of late. I think they are just hoping to sell as many console units as they can before making it available on PC to avoid piracy on the PC. Makes me mad.

They didn't want to compete with Mass Effect 3 either. That was a dumb move to slate it for the same day. Glad to see they changed it finally.

Anyone else got the feeling this is going to be mediocre despite the, what, year and a half delays? I've almost completely lost interest in it at this point.

Delaying Ghost Recon is understandable and besides Mass Effect 3 comes out in March anyways so I do not want to see it competing with it. Smart move Ubisoft.

First you guys come out and say the PC version is dead and Ghost recon online was pushed forward as an alternative. Now you're saying that it's not? So was the whole PC version being scrapped deal a way to get some hype for the beta?

I'm betting on this having something to do with Kinect. Look at Star Wars being delayed as well...

Even if I enjoy Ghost Recon games from time to time and even if tactical squad based shooters are the only shooters I enjoy (really how much pew pew can the 9 year old tsunami force the industry into?), I have yet to find a better gameplay than the one in Swat3.

Dont NAME YOUR GAMES with words like FUTURE or FOREVER.. it's bad luck and a sure way to jinx it LOL We all know what happened to DUKE NUKEM "only took us 15 years and it ended up a steaming pile of fly infested t*rd" FOREVER!! SERIOUSLY THOUGH, I'm glad they're pushing this back. I'm a big fan of the Ghost Recon series and I'm sure the final finished product will be worth the wait Besides there's already a fair number of good games out this year, so it's good not everything is out at the same time :)

Lamo...again! I rememeber when it was supposed to come out in like, march 23 last year, and I went to gamestop ready to pre-order, only to find out it was delayed I honestly did not mind, it is good when games get pushed back if it is needed. I have been so Pumped for this game, up until fall of late fall last year, I kinda forgot about it. But now again! holy shiiiiiiii, it is a good thing, but by now with this many delays i sure as hell am not going to pre-order, I will wait to see if it is worth picking up after release. But also GR Online (which i also am looking forward to as long as its not pay to win) was supposed be out in december wasn't it? I have not heard nothing on it since like E3. Anyways, I really really hope that they make it a great game or it will be disapointing.
