God of War 3 cleared for release down under

@ManB3arP1g The reason for this is because the GoW Collection wasn't released here in New Zealand (and I presume Australia too). All it has extra to the ultimate addition in NA is that it has the GoW Collection and 2 more bonus skins, that's all. Hope this helps.

Yeah it sounds awsome. But I think they released the GOW collection prematurely, as those who bought that collection, will be hard pressed to buy this version. Also, on pushsquare.com, it shows a picture of Pandoras box along with the set. Wonder why no mention of it here? Oh well.

LOL @ Everyone ranting about this... Bottom line is if you can't afford the game don't buy it ? Personally i earn enough to be able to buy this game a few times over. I know... hooray for me right ? But i think the price is fair when you consider the absolute awesome box it comes in. GoW 1 and 2 upscaled to HD and all the other extra content. Personally im a sucker for anything Collectors Edition so this is definately a must buy for me. For all the ranters out there, do you self a favour and buy the standard edition and keep your selves happy. While the rest of us who can afford it buy what we want to keep our selves happy. End.

$250 is a huge amount, but games are $100 here anyway. $120-150 for a Collector's Edition isn't uncommon, and considering you're effectively getting a collector's edition of a new game and two recent games... Yeah. Pretty predictable.

The pandora's box case for the ultimate edition does look pretty sweet. But the game on its own is to expensive for me, so no thanks xP A boy can dream.

$248 is outrageous for what you get. For that price I would expect a replica dagger that he uses, not made out of medal probably but some material that makes it look good with a little stand for it. But an art book that I will look at once or twice, a soundtrack I don't care about, and postcards? I am not even counting the GoW collection because who, that is willing to spend $250 on GoW3, isn't already going to have this before it comes out?

Must buy and beat the collection before I get this.

This is ignorant of you americans.... the term "down under" does not only include Australia which is the porblem country, New Zealand - Which is not a part of Australia - never has issues with games being to much to handle in fact most games that get banned in Australia appear here with a "Banned in Australia" chunk of text on it just because we like to rub it in the Aussies face. So you stupid Americans stop refering to only Australia as "down under" because New Zealand is here to and we are in fact further south than Australia Further more put New Zealand on a friken map already in just about every movie or media image that comes out of America has no New Zealand on it. Maybe one day your ignorance will bite you in the ass.

@bendall: I agree is starting to get TOO gory for my taste.. I have always play weird/blood games, being a horror fan.. but lately games are getting quite strong on the gore aspect... then again that WOULD NOt stop me.. The story and gameplay on this game are just to awesome... Already reserved my Collector edition in NA, with my beauty "pandora box" ....

that's some expensive postcards...........would want to be A1 in size!
