GTAV preorders get free T-shirt

Gamers who reserve Rockstar's action game through company's store will receive "Kifflom" shirt related to viral marketing.

Those who preorder Grand Theft Auto V through Rockstar Games' official website will receive a T-shirt shipped with the game upon release next spring. The T-shirt is light blue and comes in men's and women's cuts, in sizes small through double extra large.

The word "Kifflom" is printed on the front, with the phrase "The Tract Is Not Yet Written" below the neckline on the back. Kifflom is a fictional cult religion that is the focus of the Epsilon Program viral marketing for GTAV.

GTAV is due out during spring 2013 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. PC and Wii U versions of the game are "up for consideration." For more, check out GameSpot's previous coverage.

Wow a non-digital pre-order bonus?  Those haven't been done in awhile, and I enjoy having cool unique video game items.

I remember getting Tshirts for games last gen for reserving, this gen it's dumb ass day one DLC codes like a new virtual tshirt of your avatar.

Now this is what a pre-order incentive should be. Doesn't rob the people who don't pre-order of anything, and yet fans of the series (the only people that pre-order games anyways) get something distinctly GTA they can't get anywhere else

Bah.. could care less about that T-Shirt. Give me the first DLC for FREE. That's a better reward. I'll just pre-order it at Gamestop.

Kinda whack in my opinion, I'd rather get some in game content (DLC, Money, etc.) but to each their own. I personally will probably just pre-order mines from Game Stop. That shirt mines nothing, doesn't even say GTA!

They already did a pre-order thing with the poster and photo-viewer last month. Now a T-Shirt? I don't have anything against having multiple different pre-order bonuses but they should really announce them all simultaneously so we can choose.

 

They better not come out with pre-order DLC later...

 @blakedaking It's a novelty catering to fans. Kind of like the idea of an actual "BAD MOTHERF--KER" wallet. It's something pertaining to the games thats tangible, and in my opinion, a lot cooler than just a shirt that says "Yay GTA V. I played it."

 @blakedaking Are you really complaining about this? Most pre-orders nowadays gets you a DLC weapon or something like that. We get something we can even wear. Plus, the shirt is cool.
