I'm impressed that this game includes both the Mercyful Fate tribute medley and the first track from that band's "Melissa" album. If only they'd made some unlockable avatars of the band from their Kill 'Em All through Master of Puppets days, including Cliff Burton on bass.
Probably no "Blackened" and "Ride the Lightning" because they're on a RB pack which also includes "..And Justice for All". Joseph_Evil - No "Trapped Under Ice" because it's on GH:WT (although with that logic I don't see why "One is on here" being on GHIII already....maybe because it has more demand?) I look forward to playing "Orion" the most! Badass instrumental!
aw come one, seriously? no war-bringer?, exodus? violator? kreator? sodom? destruction? bonded by blood? artillery? sepultura? surely metallica one of the "Big 4" (which i think is a load balls,exodus was before all 4 of them, kreator before megadeth etc.) should be have a guest list of other thrash bands?
this game looks sweet i should put it in my wish list,it would sound awsome on speakers and the songs are sweet
The metallica traks are the star of this package for sure. Bring on guitar hero : Creed, and I'll be one happy guy.

The only real setback of the list is that there's no ride the lightning. I mean, really? why isn't it there? overall though, its a pretty good setlist

Yay Creeping Death! And Orion is amazing, I'm a little surprised at it's inclusion though. And yay For whom the bell tolls! I like how some of the non-metallica songs are ones they've covered :D But no Astronomy....damn.

Orion's the deadliness. =D And for all of you that are wondering why Ride The Lightning or a lot of Kill 'Em All(Phantom Lord, Four Horsemen, Jump In The Fire, No Remorse and Metal Militia, specifically, which is a shame because I love all of those songs except No Remorse and I'd rather them over anything from AJFA forward), it's because Dave Mustaine co-wrote them and Dave can't seem to get along with James or Lars or Kirk...=( And I don't get why the Foo Fighters are in absolutely everything, they should've included something that actually relates to Metallica...Blitzkrieg(one of their inspirations) or Anthrax(in the Big 4 of Thrash with them, Megadeth and Slayer), maybe...?
