Wish it worked for real, I'd pick up my mother in law's yappy dogs and fire them out the fucking window, horrible little shits
Neca producing 1:1 toy version of Gordon Freeman's go-to gun; will be on display at NY Toy Fair in February; preorders open soon.
Gamers hoping to bring Gordon Freeman's iconic Gravity Gun into their homes in an all-new way are in luck. Toy maker Neca will release a 1:1 recreation of the classic Half-Life weapon this spring, the company announced through its blog. A price for the gun was not announced and quantities will be limited, Neca said.
The Gravity Gun's real name is the Zero Point Energy Field Manipulator. It first appeared in Half-Life 2, given to players by Alyx Vance at Black Mesa East.
Neca's Gravity Gun will be on display at the 2013 New York Toy Fair in February and preorders for the toy will begin "soon." The company has created a prototype (at right), which shows that the Gravity Gun will also light up.
What a waste, don't bother to give me Sierra news until it's a real gravity gun! *picks up X Nintendo handheld and resumes play*
it gets annoying when people write half life 3 all over any article or piece of news related to valve or steam.
i really hope that one day soon i will scan through the news section and spot a 'Half-Lfe' heading that includes either '3' or 'Episode' : )
@cyborg100000 yeah, if it doesn't pick things up, i'll be disappointed. otherwise it's just a useless piece of plastic.
This is a neat idea, but man, it took forever to release. It would have sold so many more copies at the height of popularity.
@ghstbstr Yeah, stop sending your programmers over to another company to make toys instead of making half-life lol..I really don't think this will have any effect on the release of Half-Life 2: Episode 3 or a full sequel.
Looks too clean and unblemished, the gun in the game had a distinct "slapped together" kind of look, also not enough hats.
@catsimboy That's a work in progress, not the final product (said so on the blog).
@catsimboy well.... u can take a Dumb on it to make it look unclean.
@swyg To which I replied to her, "I'd like to zero point field manipulate YOU." Then I shot a paint can at the wall and giggled at how paint splattered everywhere.
My version of Gordon isn't nearly as suave and cool as my mind makes him out to be...
@EasyComeEasyGo gamestop? really? I'd figure someone who is an enthusiast enough to visit a gaming site would know better.
