Halo: Reach Game Night!
Community News: Record your game night experience for a chance at the MVP title and a Bungie bag!
On Wednesday, October 13, starting at 5 p.m. PT, we plan to have a game night dedicated to Halo: Reach. This time around we plan to have a combination game night activity where you create a video of your experience and share that with us for a chance to be rewarded the MVP title and a Bungie bag.
Here’s how to participate.
1. Play Halo: Reach with GameSpot staff and community during game night.
2. Go back and look at your recent videos from the matches in Theater mode and edit down a clip showcasing your favorite moment of the night. Each clip MUST be less than 30 seconds and MUST be from one of the game night matches. For help on how the Halo: Reach Theater mode works, visit Bungie.net.
3. Save the edited clip to your File Share. Then send an Xbox Live message to gamertag Riverdogs with the name of your clip and your GameSpot username. Messages MUST be send before 2pm PT on Friday the 15th.
The current staff roster includes Chris Watters, Shaun McInnis, and Ryan Mac Donald.
If you are new to game nights, all participants join the chatroom to share their gamertags and ensure that they can get on a staff member's friends list. Those who don't drop by will not know what's happening in the event, so if you have an Internet connection, drop by to grab a spot on a staff member's friends list, and most of the communication thereafter is through XBL voice chat. Additionally, if you have issues trying to log in to the chatroom, please make sure you have the current version of Java by dropping by www.java.com.
Want more details on how to take part in game night? Don't worry--just join us 30 minutes beforehand in the chat room for all the details you need!
