Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 due July 14 in UK
Second installment in EA's bifurcated series dropping in European markets a day before the film is released this summer; retailers indicate July 12 US bow.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 was released last November alongside the film of the same name to a cold reception. Like the film, the video game adaptations were also bifurcated, and EA will have a chance at critical redemption this summer when Part 2 arrives during the week before the film drops this July.
The release date news stems from a new trailer for the game (embedded below), which is introduced by Emma Watson, who plays the part of Hermione Granger from J.K. Rowling's magical universe.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 will arrive in theaters worldwide on July 15, which means gamers will have the first crack at the culmination of the Harry Potter universe.
July 14 is a Thursday, and the release date shown in the video is meant for the European market. Traditionally, games are released on Tuesdays in North America, which would make a July 12 release date likely for this region. A number of US retailers, including GameStop, are also listing the game for a July 12 bow.

Normally, the ending of a series goes out with a bang. But Harry Potter likes his games to do the opposite

If they made a game where the main characters were Luna and Nevil, it would be a lot better.

The harry potter games all went downhill after the Prisoner of Azkaban, so I'm not expecting much.

Please delete this game. I do NOT want to play or even see it existing. I have nothing against the HP series, but this... being a Tps.. is just disgraceful.
As I stated in my Order of the Phoenix review. It's much better to get the book than the game. I do believe it will be correct for this one...again. :?
I love Harry Potter and I'm a huge fan but this can't stop me admitting how terrible DT pt 1 was...My fanboyism got me playing till the end but i admit it was poor. I really hope pt 2 is an improvement.
forget about lego harry potter 5-7 how about lego harry potter the complete saga that whould be epic also i probly get deathly hallows part 1 for the kinect when it cheaper also loved chamer of secrets on the gamecube
The only thing good about that trailer was Emma Watson in the beginning. i just want Lego Harry Potter Years 5-7.
For gods sake I don't give a damn about some strange kid with a scar on his head anymore, that got old ages ago!
I think it would be easier if they just stopped making the game and just outright asked us all for money.
The last good Harry Potter video game from EA was Chamber of Secrets, and that over eight years ago. Every single game afterwards was awful.
I found Part 1 really disapointing :( As a Potter fan I loved Deathly Hallows but the game was just awful I would agree with dylan417 on about Lego Harry Potter 5-7 Years.
I played the first a few weeks ago and it was horrible. Lets hope that this one is at least decent or God forbid good.
