Harry Potter Japanese release date set: Xbox MIA
EA targets December 12 as title's due date; puts a premium on Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone price point in Japan
TOKYO--Electronic Arts will release Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone in Japan on December 12, just three days after the U.S. release. The game will be significantly more expensive in Japan than in the U.S.: Amazon’s Japanese site lists the game it at 4,930 yen ($45.75) while it sells for $29.99 on Amazon’s U.S. site.
In the U.S., the game will be released for all three consoles, but as of this writing, Electronic Arts hadn't announced any plans to release an Xbox version in Japan.
