Sounds good to me. I am looking forward to it. I don't know why I never played any of these games in the past. I missed on some good stuff.
Amazon reveals new $40 bundle that will include Hitman 2: Silent Assassin, Hitman Contracts, and Hitman: Blood Money next month.
Amazon has posted a listing for a Hitman HD Trilogy, a bundle that includes three entries from the murder-minded series due for release on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 January 29, 2013.
A Premium Edition will also be available, and will include an artbook with 22 pieces of never-before-seen reimaginings of moments from the three games. This bundle is listed also at $40.
Square Enix has not announced the Hitman HD Trilogy and the publisher was not immediately available to comment.

@GamerMani I'm quite sure these are just straight ports of the PC versions, any graphical changes would probably be very minimal or the hype would include "remastered graphics" etc etc to get people interested.
I still got my old hitman games on ps. Only not absolution, not because I don't like it but to many old games to play.I like the games but this HD collection is not the right choice my opinion and should've been released before the new one.
Yes it is:
WTF?! Blood Money is already HD, I have it for the 360. Why isn't Codename: 47 in that bundle instead?
@push88 Because it was never even released for playstation man just a PC game and plus the controls and AI were pretty wonky compared to the other Hitman games.
I hate that probably one of the only reasons PC was excluded was because of that stupid band who is refusing to let them sell Contracts online.
It'd be great if this sold more than Absolution. Teach the industry what stealth fans really want.
not a bad deal but if you have a backwards compatible ps3, you may want to save your cash and just get the one released for ps2 back in '07. i got it a few months back for like $10 and actually looks great with graphics smoothing.
sound like a good bundle for some of us who have never had any of those games but am wait and see how they look graphically (yes am that shallow i want pretty looking game)
its cool and all how you get to re-experience all of these games over again and get trophys/achievements, but is anybody else getting, well... a little tired of all these compilations and hd re-releases in the past year 1/2
Yes. This is why it pisses me off tht they took out backwards compatibility for PS2 games on PS3.
This is cool & all, but why do they always leave out a title in these collections. Why would they not include the original Hitman?
@CeZar_87 Because including the original probably requires some effort on their part, and they don't give enough of a shit to actually try.
i've always wanted to try to get into hitman, which is why i bought absolution, but it would be nice to go back to the roots
funny i was just thinking they should make this...... now all they need to do is ACTUALLY remake the 1st game and its a perfect collection for fans
Its kind of funny them revealing this just now because only 2 days ago I bought Hitman ultimate contracts on pc for 8.50 euros which is the first 4 Hitman games. I wouldn't say they'll make much changes to the graphics anyway. They'll probably look like the pc versions do in 720p.
I think they should release a Battletoads HD collection. Battletoads Battletoads in Battlemaniacs& of course, Battletoads/Double Dragon. Now that would be an HD remake worth buying.
Hope it doesnt turn out like Silent Hill, Zone of the Enders, Splinter Cell and Prince of Persia HD collections. Hopefully based on Pc versions. Should of Included the first hitman but not missing much as it plays terribly.
God willing, enablecheats1 is already edited in the cfg file for contracts and blood money. No cheats on consoles was really lame for those games. Hitman games are one of those games where playing with cheats on is a fun and differant way of playing.
Makes me miss the 90s when cheat codes were still around.
Did i ever tell you the definition of insanity? It's playing Hitman on consoles. BTW it's not worth it without Hitman 1 and its slowmo capslock mode. It's interesting that the first hitman had the best animations (except faces, of course). The animation went smoothly from taking the gun out of your suit to lining up a shot whereas in every other game you had to first [take it out] [end of animation] [shoot].
@theend3r I disagree. I thought Silent Assassin was much better on a console. The only reason I didn't feel the same with Contracts or Blood Money was because they didn't have the cheat codes available on consoles.
Other than that, being able to play the game without having to tweak any settings, have a controller, and all the benefits of acheivments/xbox live stats. ...It would be stupid to play them on PC (If not for the cheat ability)
@VenkmanPHD You don't have to tweak settings, just put them on max :D you can also play it with a controller on a PC and achievements? They are already in the game (silent assassin).
@ramb1402 For the first X amount of pre-orders at gamestop for Absolution, they gave away a DLC code for the "original hitman trilogy" Which of course wasn't 1-3, but 2-4.
I was one of those pre-orders, but I've beaten them a thousand times on PC, so I didn't bother using my code.
@VenkmanPHD Wait did i miss something? I thought HD meant better visuals... i do own the original games but i doubt they're "HD".
@ramb1402 aren't they all already on pc?
