Injustice: Gods Among Us hits April 16
NetherRealm's DC fighter coming to Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii U in three months; $150 Battle Edition and $100 Collector's Edition revealed.
Injustice: Gods Among Us will hit store shelves in three months. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment today announced that the DC Comics fighter will arrive for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii U in North America on April 16, with a launch in Europe slated for April 19.
In addition, Warner Bros. today announced two collector's editions, the first of which is a $150 Injustice: Gods Among Us Battle Edition. Bonuses included with this bundle (at right) are a fight stick with official game artwork and three "exclusive" skins based on Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman.
The second Injustice: Gods Among Us premium bundle is a $100 Collector's Edition that features a DC Collectibles statue, a special version of a comic book based on the game, a download code for the animated film Justice League: Doom, and the skins mentioned above.
Both premium bundles will be available only for the Xbox 360 and PS3, not the Wii U.
Lastly, Warner Bros. announced today that the new Injustice: Gods Among Us digital comic book from DC Entertainment is now available through the Web, the DC Comics app, or via the iBookstore, the Kindle Store, or the Nook Store.
It is a prequel to the game, with new chapters to be released digitally every Tuesday for $.99. A print version featuring three chapters will be available on a monthly basis for an unspecified cost.
