$60 triple-pack includes all three BioWare spacebound role-playing games; coming to Xbox 360 and PC November 6, PlayStation 3 sometime later; original Mass Effect to be available on PSN.
Commander Shepard's next adventure has been charted. BioWare announced the Mass Effect Trilogy today, a triple-pack that includes all three Mass Effect role-playing games for $60.
The Mass Effect Trilogy will come to the Xbox 360 and PC on November 6, with a release for the PlayStation 3 following at a later date. No explanation for the delay was provided, and a Electronic Arts representative was not immediately available for comment.
The original Mass Effect never released for the PS3, but not only will Sony faithful get to play the game for the first time as part of the Trilogy, the title will also be available as a standalone download on the PlayStation Network. No release date or price for this offering was announced.
It was not mentioned if the Mass Effect Trilogy will include any downloadable content previously made available for Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2, or Mass Effect 3. An EA spokesperson had not responded to GameSpot's request for comment at press time.

warning anyone that is thinking of trade in there old copys for this trilogy bewarned the dlc you have for these copys wont work on the trilogy box set, EA & Bioware expect you to pay for the dlcs youve already got again.ive got the trology thinking that the dlc would transfer over to this trilogy they dont.dont waste you money trading your old games, download mass effect 1 from psn.it will save you money on the dlcs not have to repay for them.
its wont work with the DLC youve already got for he other copys, you have to rebuy the dlcs to fit the trilogy box set. ive had the arrival mission dlc for ages i brought the box set thinking the dlc ive already brought would transfer to the trilogy copy without a problem, i was wrong clar mean bioware & EA expect you to repay for the dlcs on the trilogy instead of having the dlcs youve already brought transfer over,there conning people now.
Maybe the best package (along with Orange Box) in gaming history.... I'll be picking this up for PC - have it for Xbawks, but hell - at that price it's worth checking out another format big time!
so i'm guessing ME1 wont be avaliable with the Trilogy pack, the only way to get it, is to down load it?

Will be part of the disc trilogy, but for those who have gotten 2 and 3 already, they will have the option to just get ME 1 via download.
@derceto ah, gotcha, thanks :). I have 1 and 2 on PC, but not number 3 as it was hard to buy in the UK and many shops wouldn't sell it. They do now, but my PC disc drive doesn't work :(
Knew this was going to happen at some point. I think I'll be picking this up as a Christmas present for a friend.
The best thing about this is multiplayer data is across all platforms so they're likely going to get a lot of sales from existing Mass Effect fans. I know i'm picking up the 360 version this time round.
1 Like Oh wow cool! They are bundling the ME series. Now every one can experience the gut-wrenching disappointment as they behold the grand sweep of the entire series suddenly and inexplicably come to one of three color-coded endings.

1 Like Here is a list of what DLCs are included in the PC version:
Mass Effect will include Bring Down the Sky and Pinnacle Station on disk.
For Mass Effect 2, Cerberus Network will be included which features Zaeed ? The Price of Revenge, The Firewalker Pack, Cerberus Assault Gear, Arc Projector heavy weapon, and Normandy Crash site mission.
For Mass Effect 3, Online Pass will be included granting players access to co-op multiplayer.

That's a lot of gaming hours for the price of one game. Good story, good game. What's not to like?
@joseph_mach There's nothing to not like about the whole trilogy. It's got everything and more to what anyone could want or need for the game. The only thing I don't like about it is the fact that EA still exists and is going to make money off of it. I've already got the 3 games on my XBox360 and I won't let EA take my cash since they blew up ME3's endings plus so many other franchises they've ruined. Besides,what do I need for having the same game on another console? I'm happy with what I've already got.

Didn't you feel that the Extended Cut solved things?
1 Like @AlexFili @joseph_mach Yes, I'm glad the extended cut DID solve a few of the closures. But I still have a bad taste in my mouth that EA still exists.
@unknownsoilder7 I loved ME1 on the PC, i didn't think it be that good, but after a little while, it was very enjoyable. ME2 was ok, some things brought it down for me, but was still good enough to play. I don't play it as much as i do with number 1 though. For ME3, i don't have it yet :)

and i think EA will just re-release these 3 original games alone, without any DLC.

1 Like @leikeylosh Hey something has to end, even if their were mistakes it was not meant to go on and on. MASS EFFECT as a franchise was best with an engaging story you don't have to trash everything for an end which you already know . so let others play

3 Like I think (hopefully) they include all ME1 dlc and all ME2 dlc that was on the disc already (for Ps3) the rest is just too new . Just because all Me3 dlc and Arrival are on psn and up to date . Well heres hoping anyways! lol
7 Like You know..... what i'm seeing occurring here with Mass Effect 1's published exclusivity is the exact same thing i'd very much like to see for that Bayonetta 2 exclusivity bullshit on the Wii U!! ....Anyways, on point with the topic, i'd probably only get part 1 as i've got 2 & 3 already on the PS3 and i must say the saga is awesome, for anyone who hasn't given the series a go, i'd highly recommend you take the chance and do so!
3 Like That's how it works now: Pay obscene amounts of money just to get some edge on the others, just look at Bethesda with Fallout and Elder Scrolls. I mean I don't really care for Bayonetta, but leaving out the original fanbases just to help Nintendo is Bullshit.

It's been forever since I played ME1. I can't waith to start from the True Beginning. Now if only I can decide on a class... Probably Infiltrator since I happen to love Snipers, they just seem so badass to me.
