Men in Black back next year

oh crap funlabs. I had always been looking forward to a good men in black game. But i dont think this will even scrach the glass to a good men in black game

Why do they even bother?

Completely lost interest after reading that its being developed by FunLabs. Yeah this game is going to suck.

Did anybody actually read the article? The game's going to suck, but not because it's a movie tie-in. It's going to suck because it's being developed by Fun Labs, the folks behind the Cabela/Rapala games, and the godawful Secret Service game.

@shravan_perne Believe it or not, I quite liked the Nintendo DS version of Eragon. 360 version was crap. The Punisher is supposed to be good. Several of the console Star Wars games were good. LOTR 2&3 were good on all platforms. MoH Allied Assault was awesome, and it might as well be a game version of Saving Private Ryan.. There are several movie based games that are good, it's just MOST of them that are crap ;)

"Activision said the new entry in the series looks to deliver "genre bending" action gameplay with shooting elements" It's still an FPS no matter how bloody well they try to disguise it

Ohhhh such much promise for this game.. unfortunately though yeah.... It will most definitely suck :(

@shravan_perne Indeed I can sir X Men Origins : Wolverine, Cars 2 and Captain America : Super Soldier are a few exceptions, a few. Oh and I'm not backing this game up, I'm 90% sure it will be a crappy game

I was starting to get excited about this game, until I saw that it's just a tie-in to another MIB movie.

Does nobody else know the MiB was a rather cool comic before it was a movie? -_- Base the game closer to the comic, save money on licensing the actors and voices and use it to hire good game makers instead.

i was just thinking ... Can somebody remind me of a movie based game which was good ... or atleast average ... ?

That Men in Black: Alien Escape game was forgettable, Hopefully the next Movie will be better. As for the new Men in Black videogame, It is a rental.

I find the Men in Black games generally fun. Played the demo of crossfire a ton on Shockwave.com when 2 came out. The PS2 game kicked my ass lol

I'll welcome the film with open arms, it's about time we get a third film..... As for the game, it's Activision and it's going to be based on a film so you know it will suck majorly.....

(IF this is held as an individual game and not just a movie shovelware game that activision is so well known for) I could see quite a bit of potential with a MIB fps-type game! Rumor has it this title will be coming to Vita,3ds,360,and ps3 (though I don't think we can rule out next gens like the wii-u yet).

Well I like MIB, but the truth is, when they gonna make a original movie instead of a continuation(again), besides why they don't try to create(the game company) a original game instead of a game based on a movie(again), and what they gonna do after sales being bad, they will blame on piracy(again).

While were at it, I like to see a brand new Men in Black animation series as well. the Animation series was a good show to watch when I was a teen.

You know, the thought of a Men In Black game is something I would normally love. This, however... No. Tied to a movie is an automatic 'No'.

Cool.. Not about the game of course. Wondering when they'd bring MiB back... Been watching reruns of the cartoon and caught the movie the other day.

@vochelli 99% of the time I would think the same but the original MiB game on the ps1 (I think) was actually not bad it played a lot like resident evil (pre third person) Although your right its going to suck lol

Men in Black 2 killed the entire series, so no thanks.

Two things you don't want to hear when it comes to video games: Activision and coming out same time as the movie. Thats how you know its going to suck.

This doesn't sound like it will end well.

At least it's not being developed by Silicon Knights.

I guess whatever studio ends up drawing the short straw and has to develop this game for Activision an look forward to being closed right after :(

I was happy to see this news and thought to myself I was going to buy it first thing, then I saw Activi$ion and my smile went to a frown. Oh well, at least there is another movie and hopefully its good like the last two.

I didn't know there was a new movie coming. I'm more excited about that news, despite how poor the second one was, than I am about the game.

First thought: a Men in Black game, shooting unique aliens with devastating guns; sounds cool. Then read: coming out alongside movie. Second Thought: this will suck.

I saw a bad remake of this movie called"Men in black men" I will never recover from that......the nightmares
