Metal Gear Rising dev building Wii U launch game

 @PumpkinBoogie It'll lanch holiday season 2012. Nintendo doesn't say when and how much, because it would give a advantage to Sony and Microsoft, they could start making console bundles of PS3's with Far Cry 3 and 360's with Assassins Creed 3. But if Nintendo doesn't tell the time to anyone, Sony and Microsoft have just 2 options:

Make bundles now, to be ready for the future, and potentially loose some money;

Or wait for Nintendo to announce the price and time, and release bundles a bit too late.

Also, Nintendo probably wants the hardware to become as cheap as it gets, so that they could sell their IBM multi core, and AMD Radeon Wii U's for a lower price than if they would sell it in this very moment.

 @Megavideogamer Looks promising, 2 new IP's from 3rd parties for Nintendo, ZombiU and Project P-100. And Ubisoft may make the Rayman franchise exclusive to Nintendo products. Nintendo seems also to suck away Sony's exclusives, Kingdom Hearts DDD, Monster Hunter Tri (G) and Monster Hunter 4. Looking good on the Nintendo front, the only thing we need left, is Miyamoto's new IP, that he's been working on along with the younger Nintendo developers.

 @Megavideogamer MGS aside, they're all about new IP's at Platinum. 

 @omgmike23 I know, right. Seriously, how long has this title been in 'works' now?? I'm little disappointed it's still not doing to be done until 2013 (IF we're lucky, that schedule will stay on course). I mean, Platinum is cool and all but a Kojima-san they are NOT (in terms of precision and perfection on a MGS project). They need to stay a bit more focused on finishing MGR, first, before they go off spreading themselves thin w/ doing a Wii U-only project.

Here's one for ya.  Have Pikmin find parts to build a spaceship.  Spaceship takes off for PlanetXTC with military payload.  Military personnel capture resident aliens on open world RPG (think Xenoblade Chronicles).  After spaceship filled with resident aliens, remaining personnel return to earth with cargo.  Use aliens to rebuild cities with "green" cities (think SimCity).  After a while, alien population growth has grown.  Aliens turn on mankind.  Mankind has to save the planet, only to realize that mankind will have to relocate to some other planet and that planet being where the aliens came from.   Throw in some space pirates and metroids, spectrobes, etc.  

Someone else care to take it from there?  LOL
