MLB 2K12 and NBA 2K12 bundled on Xbox 360
2K Sports combining upcoming baseball simulator and October's basketball game into $70 package due March 6 exclusively for Microsoft's console.
2K Sports is hoping to draw cheers from sports game fans this March with a new double pack. Today, the company announced the MLB 2K12/NBA 2K12 Combo Pack, due out exclusively for the Xbox 360 on March 6.
Set for release alongside the stand-alone version of Major League Baseball 2K12 next month, the $70 combo pack includes a new copy of the company's latest baseball game, as well as the full version of October's NBA 2K12. That game scored a strong critical reception upon release and has sold over 4 million units.
As for Major League Baseball 2K12, 2K Sports promises the title will be a more faithful representation of the game in terms of presentation and gameplay. Additionally, the company is holding a tournament to hand out $1 million for the first gamers to record a perfect game.
