Modern Warfare 4 revealed by actor Bill Murray

Voice of Captain Price confirms MW4 under development at studio Infinity Ward, carries on story from the previous games.
[Update]: Infinity Ward has updated its official Twitter feed with the following statement regarding the news story, below. "Interesting news today, but it’s not true," said Infinity Ward reps. "We’ve not talked with any voice actors, so all news is speculation."
The next chapter in the Call of Duty franchise, Black Ops II, isn't out until November 13th, but already another game in the series is being readied. Modern Warfare 4 is in the works, at least if voice actor Bill Murray is to be believed.
The actor, who has played Captain Price in the previous two games in the series, told This is Xbox that he is set to reprise his role soon. He said, “Yeah, on Monday I am off to meet Infinity Ward about the next game, Modern Warfare 4, I’m doing work on the sequel to Modern Warfare 3, it carries straight on and I only ever appear in the Modern Warfare games…”
News of another entry in the Modern Warfare franchise should come as no surprise. Traditionally, development duties on the Call Of Duty series are split between Infinity Ward and Treyarch, with each studio producing a game every two years.
Infinity Ward's last game was the critically acclaimed Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. Since then the studio has remained largely silent following the loss of head Jason West and Vince Zampella, as well as outspoken creative strategist Robert Bowling,
Black Ops II is due for release worldwide on November 13 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. PlayStation Vita game Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified is due out also on that date, with a Wii U version following as a launch title for Nintendo's new console on November 18.

@thingta42 I would not be suprised. There's two studios that work on the COD Series, and each one makes a stand alone.
We have Infinity Ward on Modern Warfare.
And we have Treyarch on the Black Ops spin off....

Black ops 2 looks like a cheap rip off of halo, i used to love the cod games because re creating past events is great fun. The only MW i liked was cod 4 the others were crap

Defending COD is like admitting that you are not a gamer, just a dork who only plays COD, thus restricting yourself from 99.99% of the video games out there. COD is the downfall of gaming. It appeals to only casual gamers and it has actually turned hardcore gamers into casuals. Believe me, I am a badass gamer that owns on most games, but after I played COD alot back in the day(which I am amazing at), my skill diminished on other games that I had previously been good at. fortunately my skills returned a week after I quit COD.

Anyways, MW(the original) was great, even genre defining, but after that, have been mediocre at best. MW3 is an atrocity, it's way worse than MW2. I wished they stopped after Call of Duty 4. Call of Duty 4 was great, but now they're just terrible. Oh well.. It's not like we're forced to play it.
Yup the storyline and the way it played through was excellent, Its been all down hill from there.

Even if they wanted to make a new COD game, they should atleast have the decency to make a new engine that is focused on making the COD experience the best it can be. The present engine is terrible by todays standards and comparing it to BF3 and MOH frostbite is just painful. I wonder what it would cost Activision to invest in a new engine that can rival the Frostbite engine
@megaspiderweb09 Actually, BF3 and MOH play very rigid and look choppy. Frostbite engine 2 is...over-exaggerated. Oh, and the new "Medal of Honor: Warfighter" is total garbage. It also runs on the Frostbite 2 engine. Looks, plays, feels outdated.
@StarkJJ @megaspiderweb09 LMFAO. Medal of Honor from 2010 looks better than BO2. Feels less outdated too, the movement of the walk, animations etc. Only downside is the 30 frames per second. Which makes it feel not as silky smooth, not outdated. Quake 3 is extremely smooth now on anything, yet feels incredibly outdated.
