Over 2 million Skyrim mods downloaded

Mods just make one of the best games even better. PC Skyrim is the way to go.

@ Raxyman I guess you and the other 10 people that gave me the thumbs down need to reread the original post. I never said anything about a game with NO BUGS. I'm talking about "game breaking" bugs. I'm talking about a major game that has patches that need patches, which magically show up way faster than the original patch, as if they knew the patch would mess something up. Most, if not all, problems began to occur BEFORE the game was given GOTY by many media outlets. A few flying horses or disappearing characters doesn't bother me, but watching a game like Skyrim on a console run like it was being played on an outdated PC does. I still love the hell out of the game, but that's my opinion.

Gonna wait half a year or so. CK has been out for less than 2 weeks, and of course a lot of ppl churning out a lot of mods now. But the actual TES modding community will need some time to come up with the really awesome stuff.

I still haven't recovered from the hilarity of pulling out a pair of light sabers during any VERY "elder scrolls" fantasy themed battles. * sweet, excellent Jeremy Soule score.. chirpy Nordic dialogue... DEEYYVVVHHHSSVVV!!!" aside from that, there really are some fantastic mods out there guys, and I would highly recommend those who haven't, have a browse.

@godzillavskong I'm considering migrating to PC too, but I've always prefered to just play without worrying about specs and upgrading and all... But since these games are becoming so problematic and the mods are as incredible as they are...

@Mega_Skrull I'm thinking of getting it again on the PC, especially after seeing all this. I just have to upgrade my PC, seeing as how I doubt my hd6670 will run it that great.

@Landsharkk You already got many replies, but i'll reinforce what you already know. Fanboys ARE everywhere nowadays, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii (Mainly...) and, unfortunately, PC... Everyone thinks X platform should be the only one to game, they are, of course, quite annoying in any board... @FallenOneX Do you have any idea how hard is it to make a open world game of that size with no bugs? The people in Bethesda aren't gods of programming y'know... Even if was Valve making Skyrim, their QA would take two years just to clean up the bugs, and the game would still have those. It's easy to make things look clean in a straightforward environment, Skyrim won GOTY because it's truly a RPG where you role-play, where you're never stuck to doing someting you don't want, or stuck with annoying characters and such. The only other game in 2012 that wasn't all straightforward was Dark Souls, and that STILL had it's bugs...

Damn it. I want mod support for consoles! We could have all fo this content and fix the stuff we got broken in what's still a great game. Bethesda, do it for us and push them! Make them change the EULA!

Still can't see how a game with so many bugs got GOTY. I don't care how much fun it is "when it's working", or if the percentage of people affected by them is "small compared to overall sales", it's a slap in the face to developers that put out decent playable games in the same period.

...............sure wish some of us that have the game on the console could get some of this as DLC.......nah........why would they.And PC gamers say they get the shaft.

That's just the number that went through Steam. Skyrim Nexus was getting a ton of traffic, too! I could barely get in to the website on Sunday night. And this is all happening three months after release!

to the clown that posted the first message, Battlefield 3 is a game ill still be playing and enjoying in years.Skyrim is an already outdated trash. KoA already did better than them and even there none of these f'ng cookie-cutter boring as F RPGs comes close to what Baldur's Gate 2 was

nothings gonna fix the 0 diversity in this game where you kill the 5 same stupid monsters throughout 4732727542672 dungeons watching the same stupid boring Swinging animation OR a clunky 3rd person camera with static moves. thats wihtout point out how this game has the WORST loot/drops Ive ever seen everything you pick up is utter trash and the only way to gear yourself is going with the game-breaking BS upgrade/Enchanting that makes you way too OP once you reach dual enchants. rofl. this game is a big flop with 0 challenge,0 mechanic (swing until it dies) ,0 diversity (hey look,a Draugr,hey,look,a draugr,hey over there,look,a draugr,) srsly Ive spent 300hrs willing to explore everything but its such a f'ng repetitive pile of boring crap that I havent even completed the main story and I dont want to open this game anymore. sorry but except for the really good and realistic graphics and the Epic-looking dragon,this game is a bigggggggggg disapointment. dragon priests dead in 2 hits roflmao. they were the only challenge in the game but seriously. this game LACKS of enemy diversity/mechanics in encounters and challenge

I really wish that Xbox and PS3 can get a few dlc's soon. and i wish it was possible to get mods for consoles but i can only wish :-(

@Landsharkk There are lots of PC fanboys around here who will thumb down any comment that so much as suggests something bad about PC gaming. Your "mistake" was stating your preference for the console version of Skyrim.

Macho Man Dragon Mod is one of the best. Also Glowing arrows is a nice one, so you can find them to recover.

I'd love a good multiplayer mod, but as we saw with ES4, that didn't work out too well. Now with all the support for Skyrim, maybe we'll have a stronger chance of a true co-op gameplay for 3-4 people, in hopeful thought that most of these supportive minds are in favor of advancing Skyrim past a single-player experience.

@Raxyman I agree, as long as it didn't detract from any portion of the gameplay. I'm surprised I got thumbs down for my previous comment though (not from you, just in general). I don't see what I typed that would have caused a thumbs down.

@Landsharkk I always said that if Bethesda add coop to their games it would cripple the competition even more.

Bah, I still haven't gotten around to modding Skyrim. Too much of a backlog, but I'll definitely boot it up again full of mods soon in the near future. :)

I've enjoyed Skyrim immensely on the Xbox. Having it on the xbox is easier for my wife and I to share the game. It's going to suck missing out on the mods though. We both have good gaming PC's, but couldn't afford to buy that many copies. Maaaybe if a really good co-op mod is created I'll think about getting it for PC. EDIT: apparently living within your means is a 'thumbs down' worthy comment. Otherwise, why am I getting thumbs down for my comment? I'd honestly like to know.

Damn!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wish I've had decent pc then I probably bought my skyrim for my pc. At least they finally fixed my framerate issue on my ps3.

I am still in the process of creating a new world...a lot of work for one person :P
