Pokémon Dominate Sales Charts
Nintendo's Pokémon Silver and Gold assume the top two spots in the top ten game sales charts.
PC Data has released the list of top ten selling console games - overall and by platform - for the week of October 15 through 21. Nintendo's Pokémon Silver and Gold for the Game Boy Color became the fastest selling North American games ever and are perched in the first and second spot respectively. The PlayStation 2, despite having only 500,000 units currently in the market, has two games in the top ten - Madden NFL 2001 and Tekken Tag Tournament. NFL 2K1 sales tapered off, but the game is still firmly entrenched in the top ten list. EA's The World Is Not Enough is the lone N64 representative on the list.
