Red Dead Redemption preorder bonuses hitting XBL, PSN this week
Once retail exclusives, $1 Deadly Assassin Outfit, Golden Guns Weapon Pack, and War Horse hitting download spots tomorrow; L.A. Noire bonuses available as DLC "much sooner."
Rockstar Games' open-world Western Red Dead Redemption launched last May to widespread praise. The game was released with several retailer-specific preorder bonuses, and this week those gifts will become available to all, via Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network.
Rockstar Games has announced that all three preorder bonuses--Deadly Assassin Outfit, Golden Guns Weapon Pack, and War Horse--will become available tomorrow, April 12, on the PlayStation Network and on Xbox Live for $1 and 80 MS points, respectively.
Rockstar apologized on its blog for the delay in bringing the content to the masses, citing "unanticipated technical delays" as the reason for the slow release. The publisher also promised that L.A. Noire--due out next month--will see its preorder bonuses arriving as DLC "much, much sooner."
