Leaked achievement list suggests 3DS-exclusive making debut on Microsoft's home console.
Resident Evil: Revelations may not be a 3DS-exclusive forever. Xbox 360 Achievements has obtained a full list of 50 achievements for the unannounced game, suggesting it will be a retail release instead of a download.
Capcom has not announced Resident Evil: Revelations for Xbox 360 and the publisher has not commented on the rumor.
Resident Evil: Revelations released for 3DS in February 2012 behind a strong critical reception. The game follows Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine in an episodic story-driven adventure set between the events of Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5.
The agents are once again on a mission to discover the truth behind a zombie outbreak, with this one stemming from the T-Abyss virus. For more, check out GameSpot's review of Resident Evil: Revelations.
People who criticize Resident Evil 6 should get their heads out of their asses, the only bad thing about that game is their controls and story, the graphics are way better than the fifth one, and almost every other aspect its better than most third person shooters around, its not fair to compare it to a first person shooter like Halo 4 or COD or even Gears of war, this game should be reviewed on comparison with past games its not fair to compare it to the big titles out there.
This is old news. Magicbox already posted that Capcom is releasing "Resident Evil: Revelations" on PS3 and Xbox 360. I already have the 3DS version and love it. That "fake mayday distress call" in the game will freak you out if you are using earbuds, LOL!
@Lynn_Kyle this. I am more than happy to further support an actual GOOD resident evil game, I also have it for the 3ds and am definitely buying it again with the HD version
What about PS3? Oh, come on Capcom! I am also waiting for RE Remake and Zero in HD for PS3. So just insert Revelations in the same disc, easy like that!
theyre probably porting it to the 360 because it is the easiest platform to develop games on out of all the consoles in this generation.
@SoNin360 Based on what they are supposed to be capable of, I would expect more along a #399-$449 price tag. But will they be able to play used games?
"Revelations" is more of a traditional, old-school survival-horror game, right? Or at least something more resembling RE4's potent mix of scares & action?
I *really* did not like RE5's all-action-all-the-time gameplay. I never even bothered with RE6.
If Revelations is more of a survival-horror game, and it comes out on the 360, I may get the proper sequel to RE4 that I've waited seven years for.....
Well its possible. After the stun that Resident Evil 6 was I can see them trying to preserve the series good name be realising this on the big consoles.
But( if this is true of course) I'm kind of surprised that Nintendo would let such a game go. I mean, the 3DS is not doing bad but at the same time its nothing spectacular and making another of its games a multiplat. title just doesn't sounds like a good idea...

does this game have normal zombies?? and none of that los plaguas BS where their head explodes in tentacles after getting a bullet to the head like in RE:Damnation and every RE games since the 4th. Im sick of all these fucking leaning curves in the serie. They shoulda sticked to the T and G-virus I HATE the new ''style'' of zombies who infect others by strangling them and making them swallow a parasite. So out of place.
@darkslayerM well you have nothing to worry about then, because its never coming to the...what did you say? x3600? i wasnt even aware such a console existed. :P
This news is already 1 month old. People will definitely buy this game. Damn you Capcom, your money milking practice has worked again!
Resident Evil: Revelations was the first game that I bought on the 3DS handheld console.
And it was a $59 dollar game.
Anyway, it is way better than RE:ORC.
Hmm... yes please! I heard this game was great and I'd love to get my hands on another good Resident Evil game.
I wouldn't be surprised. "Exclusive" Capcom games rarely stay exclusives, especially Nintendo-system-exclusives.
I can see that capcom is getting desperate with their back-to-back failure last year (Operation Raccoon City & RE 6). I will not pre-order or buy until I see full review...RE have disappointed me plenty lately!
@samirus Trust me, Revelations is very good and I was very pleased with it, and this is coming from someone who hated Operation Raccoon City AND Resident Evil 6, so at least you know I have decent taste in games haha. :)
I have revelations already on the 3ds but its so good I'm actually going to buy it again when it comes out for consoles.
This game is meant for the 3DS. Playing it on a home console would be lame. However I can see why people would not want to spend 300$ to play one game.
In my opinion, the 3DS is worth purchasing for Revelations and with Pokemon coming out soon it would be a good time to think about buying one.
@JSniper80 RE 2 and 3 were a direct port (they look exactly the same as the originals), but RE1 was a remake, a really good one. I want that one and RE0 on PS3/X360, they are the only ones that aren't available yet for everyone, all the other have been ported.

If true all I can say is - About god damn time you did something right for once. Revelations was the only good RE game to come out last year and one of about 3 good Capcom cames overall last year.
Gamespot is seriously behind on this rumour. The good ole Korean ratings board let slip about this back in late November, and that it would be released on PS3 & 360. The achievements being listed now pretty much confirms it's no longer a rumour.
I's more likely to come out for PS3 since the system support 3D games. If that the case I hope Capcom also remaster the game. Adding extra features and game modes would be even better. The game has downgraded so much in the less competent 3DS (no facial expression or less than it's supposed to be, half SD half HD graphic, etc.).
Good game. As someone mentioned, it's better than RE 6 -- a lot better.
Don't think I'd want to play it on a home console, though.
Is it possible someone faked this? Doesn't seem too implausible someone made that list up and posted it, but I never use that website so I have no idea how reliable it is.
@TrueGB It's very reliable. They only post lists that show up on xbox.com. The few times they've posted games that never saw fruition, those games were cancelled.
Is it wrong that I got a 3DS just for this game? And that I will gladly buy it again on the 360? It's a fantastic game and if it does get released I'm glad others will get a chance to play it too. It's a mixture of the classic RE's and the newer ones.
@Tufty1988 I hate the Resident Evil series or should I say I dislike it BUT I like that YOU enjoy the series AND this game. I'm glad that others will get to play it on consoles if it does arrive cuz after all, the one thing we all have in common is that WE ARE PROUD TO BE GAMERS!!! :D
@Tufty1988 Yes. It is wrong that you did because this game and mercs 3d were the only way nintendo could sell the 3DS, other than Mario. I had to stop myself several times from getting a 3DS for this game - the same way I have to stop myself from buying a Wii U when I know there is only 1 game on it I would play at this point.
I got the 3DS for this game, but I also play others on it too. I'm happy with it lol. If you would only play RER on it, then yeah, I can see why you won't get it. I have no interest in the Wii U. When my mother got a Wii, I was only interested in it because I could play the REUC and REDSC on it.
