Another game delayed. Keep pushing games back, thats all you game developers do. Why want to sell a game, why want to establish the 3ds as a serious platform? I feel stupid for buying the 3ds thing, absolutely no games worth buying or downloading. Damn it
Shinobi, Crush3D for 3DS delayed
Sega pushes ninja action game back two months to November 15 as spatial puzzler release date slides to February 21, 2012.
It has been a bad stretch for the 3DS's third-party software lineup. Last week, Assassin's Creed: Lost Legacy was confirmed dead. Yesterday, Capcom announced the outright cancellation of Mega Man Legends 3, and Sega followed that news up today with delays for two of its 3DS games, Shinobi and Crush3D.
Shinobi is now slated to debut November 15, while Crush3D has been pushed all the way back to February 21, 2012. Both titles had previously been announced as September releases.
Developed by Griptonite Games, Shinobi will follow Jiro Musashi, the father of the original Shinobi, Joe Musashi. The game will combine side-scrolling levels with 3D action sequences to pit the titular assassin against a variety of threats, from helicopters to henchmen. Sega is also promising a new combo system merging melee, ranged, and acrobatic attacks, as well as the return of Shinobi's distinctive ninja magic and support for the 3DS StreetPass feature.
As the name suggests, Crush3D is a three-dimensional follow-up to Sega's 2007 PSP game Crush. Crush3D's primary puzzle mechanic sees gamers navigating an intricate world by swapping between 2D and 3D fields of play. Through the "crushing" mechanic, players will be able to expand and collapse the gameworld, allowing them to reach seemingly impenetrable areas or heights.
