Sleeping Dogs heading to AU, NZ on August 16

Square Enix unveils release date for third-person action adventure in Australia and NZ; details ANZ limited edition pack.

Square Enix's Sleeping Dogs (formerly True Crime: Hong Kong) will be released in Australia and New Zealand on August 16 this year.

The publisher also took the opportunity to detail a special limited-edition ANZ pack of the game, which will contain three types of content: Georges St. Pierre (GSP) content, Police Protection content, and Martial Arts content.

The GSP content will include GSP's signature flying punch; exclusive GSP outfits including T-shirts, headbands, and shorts; and increased grappling and throwing damage. The Police Protection content includes the High Speed mission; a Hong Kong Police SWAT outfit; and a SWAT assault rifle and police vehicle.

The Martial Arts content includes the Shaolin Showdown mission; a Shaolin warrior outfit with increased striking damage; bonus Triad XP points; and a Wing Chun decoration for safe house with temporary combat buff.

Sleeping Dogs will be out on August 16 for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. The ANZ Limited Edition of Sleeping Dogs will be available for a limited time only, at the same RRP as the standard edition.
