Besides, are you following Sam's story in a book? The games and the novels aren't related, they never are (with exception of Gears of War). This site is about games and i'm talking about the game, in Conviction, Sam's story end. Period. Ubisoft can only release a new one with a different character.

First i want to thank you for using proper grammar. And second; i disagree. I have read the Conviction novel and though it was not written by Clancy himself (none of the books were) it still had the feel of Conviction and the other SP games. I would tie the change of gameplay to the change in the character of Sam. He's no longer a company man, he's louder, angrier, more careless. The story was not finished either, Sam still needed to find his daughters killer. I do agree that Sam's story is now finished and he should not have been brought back, especially not without Ironside. I wouldn't mind Blacklist if it were about some other splinter cell operative.

The truth is Tom Clancy games, especially splinter Cell have close to nothing similar to Tom Clancy?s work besides name anymore.

It's quite different to reuse a cartoonish character in a game (like sonic, Mario, rayman among others) than use a character in an evolving story, Sam's story has hit a dead end, where every new game would only be more and more of the same.

Im not going to justify my views to a loser like you. If you ever grow up let me know and we'll have a real conversation rather than a meaningless pissing contest.

Comparing Sonic with CoD gotta be the dumbest thing i've ever heard.

If the games are always the same then why do people complain about the "first ones being better"? If they're all the same? How come a series that gone from 2D to 3D is not innovating? How does a game where you can play with multiple characters, a game where it's partially a beat'em up, and a game with alien power-ups be the same? Any gamer with eyes will tell that i'm right. Sega doesn't innovates? What about Yakuza? Wht about supporting Platinum games? What about supporting tri-ace? What about the only decent kinect game?

I don't know if you just hate Sega or you're plain dumb. How much DLC Sega releases? How many games need online pass? How many games have DRM? How far did Sonic stray from the original franchise?

Never. It's always about Sonic and speed. Every single game. Sega does a good job of innovating every game, work that goes unnoticed by whiners that think only the three first are good.

Which games do you think it doesn't have milking? Dead Space? With it's exclusive pre order content, online passes? Or maybe Assassin's Creed with DRM and loads of DLCs...

 @Raxyman Yeah, I agree with you. But unfortunately the money always speak louder. That's why we don't have shooters like Doom and Quake anymore, nor stealthy games like the old Splinter Cell. These games dwell on a small niche of gamers, and niche products don't pay by itself. It must sell higher numbers, to make it worth the while. This is the sad truth.
