Starcraft II: Heart of the Swarm hands-on at MLG event

@LittleButters, quick question, if they have less skill than you, why aren't YOU in the MLG? On topic - can't wait to see HotS in action! :)

Hooray! MLG! Because I love watching people with less skill than myself play against each other!

@Bartz77 Because the people who play who skill games professionally are really fun to watch. It's not just the second to second gameplay on something like Starcraft or Dota 2, but the metagame. Those players know their games so well that they pretty much know exactly what your going to do by scouting your base or your laning strategy. So the interesting part, at least for me, is watching these really skilled players come up with new strategies that just surprise the hell out of their opponents. But then someone will come up with a counter to that and it just keeps going.

Still no LAN!

HotS will be awesome. I'm really looking forward to seeing how it changes the game (competitively and otherwise). Oh, and bring back the Lurker, Blizz! :D

IMO it won't be as popular as the original since removing the lan option was the main reason the game became popular in the 1st place. Frankly after playing the single player I uninstalled it so fast and swapped it for an me3 copy to a friend(who also wants to trade it with something--i wonder why???)...big mistakeT__T....but this topic reminded me of how I missed lan battles with all the shouting, cursing and whatnot....oh well....hope dota2 doesn't disappoint

@Bartz77 @Icehearted You are a gamer, questioning why anyone would watch professional gaming? You're telling me a-holes throughout your life never questioned why you spend so much money and time on video games? Same answer: "You wouldn't understand. It's just enjoyable." Pot calling the kettle black.

Watching people play StarCraft II is awesome- I love the game and seeing other strategies definitely makes me better.

@Bartz77 people playing at a competetive level neither you nor I will ever achieve. Its like saying you don't like watching sports, only playing them. Sure, this may be true for you. But for me I love watching European league soccer, they play at a level of competition and skill I will never achieve, its fun to watch ...

I don't get the fascination of watching other people play video games, I hated it as a kid (I wanted to be the one playing) and find it extremely boring now. If any one can enlighten me as to how it is fun to watch some guy/girl play Starcraft go ahead, I'm game (pun very intended) to learn.

Oh goodie, MLG. Right up there with Women's Professional Hopscotch on my must watch list.

no one cares by the time this add on actually comes out the game will be so dated.....
