If ProoFy hadn't walked out, no one would have had to know about the controller issue. Because he did, the producers needed to explain to the viewers why he left, so now everyone on gaming forums and sites are witnessing his arrogance. I don't know what job ProoFy works, but if you compare it to a minimum wage job, I'd take a chance at $50,000 for a ~30 minute gaming session sitting down in a chair any day. Like they say in the Lottery, you can't win unless you try.

It should have been a gamer paired with a real soldier that doesn't play games.

Lol, I can't stand b**** ass punks like Proofy, the world could definitely do without these softies. I can't believe dudes like Proofy actually refer to themselves as a man. the production company must've put 1,000 dollars into making this show, with half of it going to making the people cuss every other word in the script. AND WHY THE %^&* DO THEY USE AMD %^&$?????!!?!?!?!!?!?!? Intel+ nVidia= AWESOMENESS, Intel + Radeon= fail, Amd+ Radeon = EPIC FAIL.

Well that last physical challenge was kind of pointless. Might have well as just handed it to the Red team and been done with it.

Actually "Proofy" Alex CAN relate. He's barely touched a controller at all. I hate playing an FPS with a regular contoller myself, but I'd gladly give up my mouse controller for a chance at 50 grand.

wow, glad to see Dark Blue take it! yeah, I feel bad for Alex...totally got the shaft. I honestly thought this show would be stupid, but it grew on me over the couple months it was on. Hope they make some occassional appearances on this site :)

Wow that Poofy guy is such a little B@#$%! First, you shouldn't of even signed up if you are just going to wimp out because you can't mod you controller. Second, what "pro gamer" does not go with the standard in tournaments? I'm sure that not the only tournament that requires a standard controller when playing on a console..

OMFG. Really? He won't play without that stick gadget? Srsly, that's lame. And I understand the rest - why should he be able to have an advantage? But... he's just a kid. Another thing - the scores looked kinda lame for the "pros", especially T2. Wonder why.

I don't see why they didn't let him use his silly little adapter, but that's a separate issue. You're supposed to have your team-mate's back. ALWAYS. He treated his team "mate" like he didn't even exist. Shameful. I actually had great respect for Proofy up until this stunt. Forever a whiny ass little b!tch.

The show was a f***king lie. more like a TV commercial. This show obviously has a director who indicates which team will make it to the next level. Are u kidding me? they train on a PC and then play with a PS3?? Do u think we are a bunch of idiots watching this? P.S: Ah and some1 finds this Jonny Moseley I wanna punch him in the face.

Congratulations to the winners and to Gamespot. This show was amazing, I had a lot of fun watching both the challenges and the battlezone matches. If you guys ever wondered, I can guarantee that at least one GS user loved this series and wishes that you do a lot more like this, and that is user is Toplinkar, or Andrew, if you prefer to call me by name. And Proofy just proved that he is a coward. He couldn't beat the Dark Blue team with or without his thingy. WTF was he talking about? I play just fine with my PS3 controller and when I play elsewhere I don't mind using a keyboard/mouse, Xbox360 controller or Wiimote. And I always have fun, winning or losing. To me, that's what makes me a gamer, to always have a good time. :)

God..... what has Proofy done???? Abandoned his team mate Alex after a week's struggle and he call himself a Pro. He is unworthy to be called pro that too for a very small inconvenience with a "controller". He could never be a gamer with that attitude.He must learn to confront the situations head on instead of running like a ****ing coward. Proofy proved to be a NOOB today.

I guess Im the only one who heard Proofy when he said he was gunna give Alex 50 grand.

ProoFy should be ashamed to call himself a pro gamer. In my eyes, ProoFy is NOT a professional gamer. Any professional should be able to handle diversity, setbacks, and opposition of any kind. Do you think Michael Jordan quit when he had the flu and STILL led his team to victory? What about when Brett Favre had to perform on Monday Night Football days after his father died? Did he quit on his team then? For ProoFy to quit on Alex all for a controller accessory is ridiculous. I lost all respect for ProoFy. It sickens me as a gamer and competitor to see such a coward. ProoFy, don't you ever call yourself a professional again, coward.

I think that this program was fixed from the starting.How could someone just Quit because they did not allow him to play with a some kind of a controller.It just does not make sense.I bet they set this episode up just to impress the public.I could have played with a BROKEN KEYBOARD/CONTROLLER FOR 50000.There are only two explanations for this either everything was set up and dark blue had to win or Proofy is a filthy rich person who always wants his way.But i side with the first explanation

Just found out an interesting bit of info on our favorite douchebag-in-residence...Proofy. I guess his MLG team "Leverage' is sponsored by KontrolFreeks. This is the same company that makes those controller extenders that little baby Proofy didn't want to play without. Makes you wonder doesn't it? I wonder if Proofy refuses to take tests in school if he isn't allowed to use his favorite pencil?
