Tony Hawk 3 for the GameCube at retailers
The GameCube version of Activision's skateboarding game is now available at retailers nationwide.
Activision has announced that Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 for both the Nintendo GameCube and Game Boy Color is currently on store shelves. The game arrives ahead of the North American launch of the GameCube console, which is set for Sunday, November 18.
"The Tony Hawk's Pro Skater franchise has a history of reinventing the genre with every new installment, and this latest iteration on the Nintendo GameCube raises the bar to new heights,'' said Larry Goldberg, executive vice president of Activision Worldwide Studios. "Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 will amaze gamers and skateboarding fans with its large, highly detailed living environments and the ability to link vert and street tricks together for mind-boggling scores.''
Aside from the lack of online options, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 on the GameCube shares all the features of the PlayStation 2 version, which was released on October 30.
