Xbox 360 BC list updated
Twenty-one more Xbox games now playable on Xbox 360; Doom 3, Lego Star Wars, Silent Hill 4 lead pack.
Early this month, Microsoft VP Peter Moore stated that "nobody is concerned anymore about backward compatibility," prompting the company's PR department into action. Moore has since retracted the statement, saying he was taken out of context.
Regardless of what was said before, it's apparent that people do still care about backward compatibility on the Xbox 360. Microsoft has announced the latest additions to its list of Xbox games run on the company's next-gen console.
Answering the prayers of many gamers, Doom 3 is now one of the 200-plus Xbox games that can be played on an Xbox 360. Also on the list are horror titles Fatal Frame and Silent Hill 4: The Room, as well as a few from a galaxy far, far away--Lego Star Wars and the original Star Wars Battlefront.
A list of all 21 games added to the list is below:

I'm still waiting for Metal Gear Solid 2 Subsistence and MechAssault. It seems kind of dumb to have MechAssault 2 but not the original.
They need to add Doom 3 Resurrection of Evil. I have finish Doom 3 on my Xbox 360 and I'm waitng for the DOOM 3 Resurrection of evil to be on the list.

I am glad they brought back the backward compatibility issue for the 360. I knew that by canceling BC games for the 360 was a mistake. And hopefully Microsoft will continue to support BC and add lots more games, then what they have already done. They need to make all the Platinum Hits BC, seems easy enough.
ok i would think that being one of the recent games released before the 360, Unreal Championship 2: The Liandri Conflict would have been done by now! didn't MS say that they would be putting in a great effort to make most of the xbox games BC? so why isn't one of the best sellers up there :S
darn it all, sold doom 3 the day before i bought my 360, bought it again ltd edition for a tenner on ebay so loving it. What about ressurection people come on
The list is getting...... better? Well.. it's getting longer atleast. Of course for the 200+ games on there, only about 1/4 of my games are on there. Fortunately the 360 has very little to entice me into buying it at the moment. Nor anything upcoming in the next year that I know about. Maybe [eA] or 99 Knights.... Superman? I dunno. I'm going to stick with my box until atleast half of my games can be carried over with me to the 360. Namely the ones I still enjoy playing.
I think the reason that Mircosoft is adding these bad games is that their rushing they keeping putting on these games cause thier easy to make BC and they just want ot show us a list of games to encourage us. Really Bad boys 2 and Barbie's adventure?????????

I can't believe them, how the hell are u gonna make a system that's not fully backwards compatible, most of my xbox games I can't play and the ones that I can play like crap. they should've never put that damn system out so quickly.
Why is bad boys 2 playable for the 360? I heard that game sucks. They wasted thier time trying to put that game on 360
Thats still crap that we have to buy yet another xbox360 I go xbox360 in January so I don't have the backwards compatible one could someone help me find a way to make it backward compatible or find a way for me how to get one for my original xbox360?
I think Microsoft is a huge troll. They know Grabbed By The Ghoulies and Barbie House Adventures pisses everyone off. No Panzer Dragoon, no JSRF. It's obvious.
No one plays half of those games at all. Could they at least *look* at the Steel Battalion crowd? I just dont have the space for a pair of massive microsoft consoles to play my amazing niche game.

wow this sucks i only own like 3-5 of those games what about our other collections of games thats unfair why can't it be like the PS2 the PS2 could play almost any PS1 games not a list of X amount of games
I want conker, but good that they finally got flatout and they should fix some of the problems with half life 2 makes the phisics engine all f-d up
could they have picked worse games? the least they could do is add counter-strike or give us a 360 version of the game.
