can ryu air IS into FS with DS?

recall that ryu can combo his air shurken into flying swallow if you hold joystick forward then pressy Y after he throws all 4 air shurikens. I just found out in Sigma 2 that ayane can combo her IS right into her FS and I am wondering if this is something that already exist in NG2 but I didn't know about.

no he just lands on the ground.
its pretty risky too since you dont have any iframes while frowing is shuriken.

I suffered through Ninja Gaiden 3 and got put off from Ninja Gaiden games in general.
I'm playing Ninja Gaiden II and Ninja Gaiden Black again to heal my broken Ninja-ness.
