Ng2 graphics look ''Flashier'' than ngs2 but sigmas graphics look a bit prettier and more detailed and the camera here sucks even more but all the extra content makes this game worth a 2nd purchase

I'm looking forward to this game. And another thing Ninja Gaiden is known for it's fluid combat system, not gore or blood, just look at NG1/B/S. The original NG had no where near as much gore and blood as NG2 does. To say it was the series stable is complete bull.

Playable Ayane for the Crushing Victory!!!! The character Rachel that they just brought back should not be Rachel at all, it should be Alma. Here is why Alma makes more sense. We don't really know anything about Rachel or Alma except the Rachel is a fiend hunter and Alma used to be Greater Fiend. As someone who used to be a Greater Fiend, Alma has better reason to love, hate, understand, and judge fiends. She could have even had relationships (and relations) both good and bad with some of those fiends when she herself was a fiend. That is grounds for internal conflict about fiends and external conflict with fiends and those grounds make her a better character right now. There are simply more places you can go with a story about Alma. Additionally that added depth would be free, Rachel and Alma are identical twins; they look exactly alike; and therefore could use the exact same code and graphical and voice assets. Calling her Alma is just a free opportunity to add depth to the story without doing any extra work. I mean literally zero work. Where you would type "Rachel" you instead type "Alma." It even saves two keystrokes; so it's less work. If they wanted, they could change some dialogue in order to tell more about her relationships with different fiends, but that's just gravy and while good would be unnecessary. Then everybody would go even more ape-**** because then we would have Ayane, Momiji, and Alma. Fanboys would never shut-up, I know I wouldn't.
Doesn't look like they've fixed the wigged-out camera. That was really all I wanted from this version. Bad Team Ninja.

You hear that No Gore isnt that awesome thats a real PS3 game the mature way we dont need trailers for those 13 year olds to be saying did you see the blood isnt it so leet as we real ps3 players oh and awe at our 1080p HD graphics So i see it as a plus for us REAL PS3 FANBOYS Great graphics for a great franchise instead of a screen full of blood
team ninja should make a hurricane pack for xbox 360 version with the add-ons of the ps3 version
there IS blood, i have the 360 version though.. but here there IS blood, not THAT much.. but there is some.
people can complain about blood, gore, and whatnot. I'm still getting this game. This game has lots of content added, new weapons, new playable characters, online co-op, etc. Ninja Gaiden Black/Sigma is better than Ninja Gaiden 2 and that did not have the over the top blood and gore. Also, who knows maybe the blood and gore was what hindered Ninja Gaiden 2, it had frame rates, glitches and slow downs. so maybe toning it down, is actually a good thing. I'm a PlayStation 3 only owner and I'm very excited about this game. If you dont like the way this version looks and plays, please by all means, stick to Ninja Gaiden 2.
let me make a summary of this: they have not changed the camera at all!!! the gore is gone!!!! they tweaked all the unimportant things liked health-bar and essence, a few new characters and weapons. Well thats all, i do not see any huge graphic differences with the xbox360 version. And who got lost anyway in NG2 thats just stupid. I really considered buying this one but after seeing this it aint worth another 60 euros. Trully disappointed. I guess only people that have not played ninja gaiden 2 will get this one or you must be a big fan. As for the reporter, the first thing he should have had asked was why did the took out the gore. Do they want to rate the game from 18+ some countries 16+ to a Teen game?
Not to mention they just completely toned it down, when this game was already made on a budget.
@ropumar Funny, I thought we were offered tons of stuff this e3, especially compared to Sony and Nintendo, but I guess I'm tearing up over 3 crappy(and I do mean that games I hate and one game's DLC that was OBVIOUSLY going to come to ps3(if you had a small bit of intelligence you might have realized that sooner) at some point. Remember that game Oblivion?
What is this? NG is like notorious for its gorey hack and slash campaign. It won't be the same without all the blood.

Well I'm not too impressed, but since I've been a Ninja Gaiden fan since the NES days, I'm still watching this.
stop bashing it about the blood. Did you guys ever think they have the gore turned down for demo purposes? I bet that's what it is. What bothers me though is the asailing issues that we can clearly see from this video..... FIX IT!
I agree that they shouldn't have replaced all of the blood effects with the purple light.. And real ninjas do not need freakin' rocket launchers or machine guns... Enough said..
The blood effects in the original NG2 were great, here I can only see that purple light flowing out of enemies, what are they trying to do? The only thing they had to do was to improve the game, not to alter some of it's flashier features. The inclusion of the other playable characters is welcome, though. And yeah, I don't see how someone could get lost in NG2. I'll get the game for sure, but I think it'll be a bit disappointing in some ways, like the inclusion of fire arms... Where is Itagaki when NG needs him most? Ah, who cares, if he were still at Tecmo I'm sure he would refuse to make a PS3 game; I really never understood why he hated Sony's machine so much.
they ddid NOT fix the camera. they are rushing it even the save statues are not like sigma 1 they are like ninja gaiden 1 and 2. i see nothing new in the game except less blood and boodies disappear AFTER cutscenes unlike in 2. i hope they fix thing better. sigma 1 had a better camera than this. also unlike ninja gaiden 1 this game is linear u cannot get lost it is impossible.
Looking forward to this game coming out. One of the few franchises where you can actually feel accomplished once you complete it.
