If you have a certain standard, dont buy this game. Its so broken beyond every limit.
But if youre a die hard fan, go ahead and waste your money. What am I talking about you already did when you preordered...not saving anyone here.

@Wolflink001 The quality of a game is relative to who plays it. These are just a general guide for you to follow. If you enjoy the game, why should it matter what the site tells you?
I personally really enjoyed kill zone when it came out, even though gamespot said it was a bad game :D
@Wolflink001 They gave the AVP reboot a 5.5. That game was nowhere near as good as AVP2, but it certainly wasn't a 5.5. These guys don't know how to review games!
Like me, I knew afew friends that are buying ACM just because they buy Aliens memoribilia and bought the quadrilogy on Blu-Ray. And plus I,d rather play this than Black Ops 2 or Halo. At least it's new and not the same s**t over and over again.
@Ducati996R Sorry bro this game is horrible,the campaign is 5 hours and the multi-player is just stupid,and they said it was a sequal to aliens?no its not they give a few references to the movies and thats it.
I still don't understand why people STILL pre-order games!!! Unless you've played a demo and think it's worth the risk, why spend your money until you've read a few reviews? Crappy DLC offerings aren't enough for me to part with £40 on the off chance the game might be good. If Aliens is rubbish then maybe the people that pre-ordered will finally learn.

I personally think it depends on the developer.
I figured aliens would suck was never even interested in it. I hope gear box shuts down so they cant make money on another crapy duke nukem game. Also their borderlands sucks too, I mean I had a lot of fun but realise just how much time I really waste for nothing, it gets really old.

Can't break down a true fan I'm very excited about it as i was 3 years ago or longer when it even wasn't announced I just love the Alien franchise and that's what's it all about, don't care about any graphics I'll know gameplay will kick ass with your marines behind you, if not I'm certain there will be some patches that fix "the bad gameplay" and glitches, bugs or whatever :D
@felixvarela07 @VeloRakic You can not blame gearbox for The Duke they were given the rights to finish the game after human head studios was taking to long to finish it and all gear box did with duke and all they can do was to just polish it up the best they can and relesae it for 2k game who were the publishers behind it.
Randy even said when they are gevin the green light they will bring a better Duke Nukem and with the last Duke Nukem Forever was made and release for the fans who have been waiting for so long. I pretty sure if they had the permission to completely break it down and rebuid from ground up they would have done.
@VeloRakic you can very definately break down a true fan, I was once like you. then i played this game. you cannot patch this gameplay, that would be like giving a cancer patient a bandaid, this is broken deep down within. if you want a very simplistic fps from about 2002 in a completely linear and non-interactive environment then you might be able to get something out of it. but if you're getting excited by all the flashy marketing then get ready for a Phantom Menace-sized disappointment
I got aliens colonial marines early at bestbuy and after all these delays and years waiting for this game it was not worth it.The graphics look decent if you were playing on a PS2,even with the motion tracker you get lost alot your AI partners are useless and the xenomorphs move real slow,Gearbox did this same thing with Nuke Dukem they ruined that series and now they laugh at us alien fans with this crap,save your money and if you have a pre-order change it.If gamespot gives this even a 6.5 i will be suprised.

2 Like I been listening to this person do releases every month. He sounds so bored doing it. Why can't they have someone who actually sounds like he gives a shit. I am not trying to be mean, but that's what he sounds like to me. Anyone else notices this? Also really another Rebellion game. When was the last time they made something good?
Why do most Aliens/Predators games suck? They've made, like, 40 of them and only a few were any good. A proper developer needs to do a proper game based on the franchises - most just use the license as a quick cash grab.
@weisguy119 I know how you feel, shit developers raped my favorite horror series Silent Hill, now everytime I think of silent hill I at first get really happy nastalgic memories of playing the first 3 games, but then get angry when I think about how all the rest of the games were terrible and ruined the series.
I already have Aliens pre-ordered, but the more I see and hear about it, the less excited I am. I am actually expecting that game to get pretty poor reviews at this point.
@Psycold I'm the contrary. The more I've seen the more I like the game. Maybe I've missed something that everyone else has seen to make them negative about the game but I'm still looking forward to it. Although, Rarely buy games on release anyway so when I do get it, it will probably be a more reasonable price.
I've heard what people are saying about Aliens: Colonial Marines. I never expected GOTY material, but I've been waiting since the canceled PS2 game for this. I'm willing to regret my purchase in order to play the experience both on and offline.
My view on Aliens is that it will be an incredible, refreshing FPS experience. Or it will fall back into the generic mediocrity of 99% of the shooters we have in the market and be quickly forgotten, if it doesn't get higher than an 8 or an 8.5, then I'll be extremely reluctant to part with my 40 quid.

I just couldn't find any reviews before i bought the game this morning (in australia at EB games in Midland, WA if you're wondering) and i really wish someone had told me to wait, so i told others. you may want to think about not take every internet post as an assault on your freedom, you'll live longer (that was advice, not an order, by the way).
Omerta City Of Gangsters kinda looks interesting, Aliens CM I'm not too sure about and how does a game without an official name get a release date? I smell a delay announcement in the works.
