Maybe it's because I'm not really THAT into shooters. Don't get me wrong; it's still a fun game, but just not my genre of choice. Before I had beaten the 25th chapter, I could really only play one chapter at a time before I got bored, the only exception being the Chaos Kin portion of the game, where the story was really interesting.

My game completion is I believe around 83%. Still haven't cleared Boss Battles yet (highest I got was 21, lost on Amazon Pandora (was that her name?) because I barely remembered her).

I barely beat Boss Battles for the first time, I had like no health left when I beat the final boss.

I remember first fighting Amazon Pandora, I lost to her because I got trapped in one of those holes that immobilize you, and didn't you can get out by shaking the Circle Pad in all directions.

This game always reminded me of the Star Fox series, moreso Star Fox: Assault, which I hoped (and still hope) that Nintendo would rerelease it, preferably on the Wii, as it wasn't a popular game.

But wouldn't one want to take a break from the game then come back to the game later to do all that?

(Not exactly serious with that question (and the one I asked in my previous post). I typically play through games once, put them down for a while, then play them again later (unless we're talking about games like Mario Kart or Kid Icarus...).)

I'm not a huge fan of it either, but I do like it. Plan on buying it? I think it's the cheapest 3DSware game out right now at only $4.

I wasn't into the series at all before MGS3D. The demo was my first experience with the series, and based on that, some reviews, and the fact that I have no plans to get a PS3, 360, or Vita anytime soon for the HD collection, I decided to buy it. I wasn't disappointed. Fantastic game with lots of replay value. Only problem is that it's way too story-heavy.
