Final Fantasy Tactics comes to PSP and DS
Final Fantasy Tactics is coming to the PSP. It is an improved version of the original Final Fantasy Tactics on the Playstation. Some sources say there will be new jobs and new cutscenees.
There is a second Final Fantasy Tactics project underway as well, but not much is known.

Dragon Quest 9 Set for Release on DS
This new Dragon Quest game will be developed by Level 5, and will be featured on Nintendo's hand held system, the DS.
Expect a full length game as Kouichi Sugiyama says "The DS version is not a side-story, but a true part of the series."

Marvel and Microsoft announced today an agreement that would bring the Halo universe to the House of Ideas. This July, Marvel is publishing a 128-page hardcover graphic novel featuring brand new tales based on Bungie's popular videogame. The anthology includes one main story and three shorter tales. Fans can also expect an extensive art gallery. Bungie conceived and produced the book, but came to Marvel for publication. This baby is authentic -- don't doubt that for a moment.

According to the company, the new studio, called BioWare Austin, has "recruited some of the top talent in MMO and RPG development...to develop a game that combines the best of BioWare's great past games with a compelling persistent online experience."

The latest issue of Famitsu, Japan's most widely read and respected game magazine, gave the game a score of 40, the highest rating on its scale. The score is derived from the combined 1-to-10-point ratings of a quartet of reviewers--meaning all four found the game all but flawless.

Microsoft announced it will bring Halo 2 to the PC -- and more specifically, exclusively to the upcoming Windows Vista operating system. Microsoft Game Studios has set up a dedicated development team to work with Bungie on the project.
