Sorry folks, but it's true. Metal Gear Solid 4 is ain't coming on XBOX 360, because it can't run high quality games
. Here what he had to say:
"The PS3 is like the theatre, it's a little bit high-priced but it has to be high quality as well. The 360 is a DVD, it still needs to be high quality but you need more variations, while the Wii is almost like a TV channel, because every game you have it with your family".

Earlier this month, Microsoft shut the door on Halogen,
a real-time strategy game based on the Halo universe that was produced
using a mod of Command & Conquer Generals: Zero Hour. At the time,
gamers thought it was just another case of a big corporation keeping
the modding community down.
It turns out the company had a good reason for closing the doors on
Halogen--the RTS was a little too close to what Microsoft was already
working on. Today at the X06 conference
in Barcelona, Spain, the company announced that it has employed
Ensemble Studios, the RTS gurus that created the Age of Empires
franchise, to work on a real-time strategy game based on the Halo
universe.
The game, named Halo Wars, will be exclusive to the Xbox 360, but has
not yet been given a release date. Microsoft showed a trailer of the
game during its press conference just moments ago.

[UPDATE] Following his 2006 Tokyo Game Show
keynote address, Ken Kutaragi reveals the low-end PlayStation 3 will
now have a high-end A/V output--and go for around $429.TOKYO--After Sony's press conference, Ken Kutaragi held a small
question-and-answer session with the press to talk about the company's
future, and specifically the PlayStation 3. During it, the president of
Sony Computer Entertainment dropped several new details about the
lower-end model of the next-gen console--details that were curiously
not mentioned during the conference itself.

Sorry for the late update:

The Computer Entertainment Supplier's Association (CESA, Chairman: Yoichi Wada, Location: Nishi-shimbashi, Minato-ku, Tokyo) and Nikkei Business Publications, Inc. (Nikkei BP, President & CEO: Seiichi Oteru, Location: Sirokane, Minatoku, Tokyo) are pleased to announce the general overview of the "TOKYO GAME SHOW 2006," which will be held at Makuhari Messe (Mihama-ku, Chiba City, Japan) from September 22 (Fri.) through September 24 (Sun.), 2006.
The Show will be made possible through support from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and special sponsorship by NTT DoCoMo.
As of August 3, the TOKYO GAME SHOW will feature exhibits by 143 companies occupying 1,710 booth units, making this tenth anniversary event the largest TGS ever (last year's Show feature 131 exhibitors in 1,433 both units). We feel that the completion this year of the advent of next-generation platforms and the continued transition from ADSL to fiber optic network that has enabled the spread of massively multiplayer online games may underlie the unprecedented scale of this year's Show. In addition to special sponsor NTT DoCoMo, two major mobile carriers will be exhibiting in what promises to be the largest mobile content area in TGS history. International exhibitors will also be on site in greater numbers than ever before, including pavilion areas featuring North American and Asian software developers. Many highly-anticipated next generation titles will be debuted, along with hand-held console and online games, in a line-up that keeps expanding every year.
To accommodate the expansion of the event, an additional hall in the Makuhari Messe exhibition center will be added to this year's Show, making this the first show since 2001 to fill Halls 1 - 8 at that venue. Come experience for yourself the unprecedented thrills and new brands of excitement poised to take the global stage at this year's 10th-anniversary TOKYO GAME SHOW!
Nintendo's next-gen console to launch in Europe for £179/249 euros on December 8, AU$399.95 for the Aussies on December 7.

The first PlayStation 3 game to release its box art on the internet, Dark Kingdom has been the subject of much debate and ridicule ever since its screens were leaked to the public this year. PlayStation 3 games will feature a silver embossed logo at the left side. The background the logo is on remains black. The ESRB rating has been placed on the bottom left and the developer's logo on the bottom right. At this moment, it is still unclear what color the box will be in, and like the PlayStation 2 boxes, may vary depending on region. The PlayStation 2 box is currently black for North America and Blue for Europe. Since the Blu-ray case is clear blue, it is likely, that PlayStation 3 games will be as well.
