Despite nearly no activity in recent months, NPU has reached 700 members.

Nintendo Man.

After a long absense, because MrDziekuje couldn't do it becasue uh... he fell down... uh... anyway! Virtual Console Games of the Month returns to kick off 2008! We'l be looking into all the months we missed, because frankly, January 2008 has been kinda bare.
The long anticipated Super Smash Bros. Brawl will hold out a little longer than expected. It will hit stores in Japan on January 31st (I think that's what it said) and will reach North American homes on March 9th. No word yet on European or Australian dates.
Joins the growing list of Nintendo games named GOTY by GS.

As most months, virtual console provided us with a few titles that would surely brighten up your collection. The important lineup this month is interesting. We have one "love it or hate it" N64 titles, along with two Genesis games.

While GotW has been devoted almost exclusivly to titles Nintendo owns/owned, we can't skip over the fantastic games from elsewhere. Continuing to induct Gamecube names into our own personal hall of fame, Nintendo Game of the Week #28 is Resident Evil 4.

August comes to a close, and while we had quite a few titles to receive good marks, two in particular casted a shadow over the others.

That's right, it's still alive. Though spaced out, GotW has yet to see it's end. This week we'll continue to honor the recently departed Gamecube with one of the most unique games of its series. Nintendo Game of the Week #27 is Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker.
