Capcom has announced a sequel to Street Fighter 4 for the PS3 and Xbox 360, coming next spring on disc. Super features new/returning characters, new ultras (everyone has two), balance tweaks, bonus stages and improved online matches. The list of new fighters include:

- - Street Fighter 3 - Dudley, Ibuki, Makoto
- - Street Fighter Alpha - Adon, Cody, Guy

StudioBlack Games is updating the original ClayFighter with improved graphics and gameplay for the WiiWare and DSiWare. First appearing on Super NES in 1993, ClayFighter featured eight playable circus performers who were transformed into clay from a meteor. These characters were created using stop motion animation by photographing and digitizing actual clay models. Expect the same wacky humor and Street Fighter 2 inspired gameplay in the new version next summer.

Marvel Vs Capcom 2 returns this summer on PSN and Xbox Live Arcade! The version is based on the Dreamcast code, adds two HD visual filter options, supports 4:3 or 16:9 widescreen, and features customized soundtracks. All 56 characters are unlocked at the start and online modes include Ranked Matches and Player "Quarter" Matches. A PSN demo is available this Thursday.

Publisher Aksys Games announced a North American release for Blazblue this summer on the PS3 and Xbox 360. The home port includes a 30 plus hour new single player mode involving separate narratives for all 12 playable characters with animated sequences by studio GONZO. This mode contains branching story paths based on battle results or player choices, which changes the condition of matches. Additional updates consist of new game-ending Astral moves, full online competition and future downloadable content.
